DMRL invites applications for the position of Fifteen (15) Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) and One (01) Research Associates (RAs). Applications are invited from candidates possessing the following qualification:

1. Position: Junior Research Fellows (JRFs)

2. No of Post: 15

3. Essential Qualification: 

a) BE/B. Tech in Metallurgical Engineering/ Materials Science and Engineering in First Division and a valid GATE Qualified score in Metallurgical Engineering (Paper Code: MT) (OR) First Division in both M.E./ M. Tech. and B.E/B. Tech in Metallurgical Engineering/ Materials Science and Engineering Topics of M.E/M. Tech Thesis/Project should be only in the area of Computational, Extraction, Processing- StructureProperty of Metals and their Alloys

b) First Division in both M.Sc. in Physics and B. Sc in Physics along with a valid NET/GATE score

c) First Division in both M.Sc. in Chemistry and B. Sc in Chemistry along with a valid NET/GATE score

d) B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with First Division with a valid GATE Qualified score in Mechanical Engineering (Paper Code: ME) (OR) First Division in both M.E./ M. Tech. and B.E/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering

i) Essential criteria: Working knowledge of finite element packages

4. Fellowship Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/~ per month for JRF with applicable H.R.A and Medical facilities are applicable as per DRDO rules.

5. Tenure: The post is temporary and maximum tenure is 05 (Five) years. The initial tenure will be of 02 (Two) years and will subsequently be elevated to SRF for the remaining 03 (Three) years subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed as per DRDO Guidelines. Also, the offer does not confer on the candidates any right for absorption in DRDO under any circumstances.

3. Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering/Material Science and engineering Or ME/M. Tech in Metallurgical Engineering/Material Science and engineering with First Division along with 03 years' research, teaching or design and development experience and at least one published research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal. Topics of Ph.D. Dissertation and M.E/M. Tech Research project should be only in the area of Computational, Extraction, Processing- Structure- Property of Metals and their Alloys.

4. Fellowship Emoluments: Rs. 54,000/~ for Research Associate with applicable H.R.A and Medical facilities are applicable as per DRDO rules.

5. Tenure: The post if temporary and maximum tenure is 02 (Two) years. Also, the offer does not confer on the candidates any right for absorption in DRDO under any circumstances.
