BE/ B. Tech in Computer science/ Information technology with NET qualification and 2 years work experience in software development in the field of database Mysql, SQL, Oracle, or PostgresSQL and in Java, PHP, CSS, AJAX scripts. Preference will be given to those having experience of 1 year and above in field of PHP

How To Apply :

  • 29.05.2017 at 10:30 AM Candidates with all supporting documents will walk-in between I 0:30 AM and 12:30 PM. After screening, eligible candidates will be Interviewed between 11 :30 AM and 01 :30 PM, Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the above post are invited to appear for a walk-in -interview to be held on May 29, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Central Pollution Control Board ‘Parivesh Bhawan” , East Arjun Nagar, Near Karkardooma Court, Shahdara , Delhi-110032. The candidate should bring the bio data on plain paper duly signed and pasted with a recent colour passport size photograph on it.

General Conditions:

  • The Board reserves the right not to fill up the post, if so decides, no correspondence/representation will be entertained in regard to the walk in interview and /or selection.
  • The above position is purely temporary and co -terminus with the project. The service of the selected candidates will stand terminated automatically after the expiry of the project or completion of period mentioned in the offer of appointment and on the decision of the competent authority whichever is earlier. He/ she will not have any right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in regular vacancies of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). TA/DA will not be admissible for attending the interview.

About Central Pollution Control Board

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), statutory organisation, was constituted in September, 1974 under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. Further, CPCB was entrusted with the powers and functions under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. It serves as a field formation and also provides technical services to the Ministry of Environment and Forests of the provisions of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. Principal Functions of the CPCB, as spelt out in the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, (i) to promote cleanliness of streams and wells in different areas of the States by prevention, control and abatement of water pollution, and (ii) to improve the quality of air and to prevent, control or abate air pollution in the country.
