Qualification in Details:

1 .Project: "Phenomics of Moisture Deficit Stress Tolerance and Nitrogen Use Efficiency in Rice and Wheat – Phase II".

2. Fellowship/ month salary: Rs 25000+30% HRA per month for year 1 & 2; Rs 28000+30% HRA per month for 3rd year

3. Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in Computer Sciences/ Statistics/ Remote sensing / Geoinformatics/ Geoinformation science with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree or integrated (B. Tech. + M. Tech. 5 years) in relevant subject. 4. Desirable qualifications: Working experience on image analysis and expertise in programming using Python, R and Matlab for sensor acquired image analysis

5. Job duties: Image acquisition, processing; developing programs for imagebased models and GUI for plant phenotyping and other works related to the project assigned by the PI.

Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women

Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate degree in Plant Physiology/ Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Botany/ Biochemistry/ or relevant biological Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree or integrated (B. Tech. + M. Tech. 5 years) in relevantsubject. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/ MHRD-GATE qualification or equivalent OR Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines (for Ph.D. qualified candidates, No NET/GATE is required). 4. Desirable qualifications: molecular biology techniques, BiFc analysis, genetic transformation of rice through Agrobacterium mediated transformation, molecular and physiological analysis of genetically engineered plants

5. Job duties: Preparation of gene constructs and genetic transformation of rice for overexpression, CRISPR-Cas9/Cpf1 mediated genome editing, and molecular and physiological analysis of GE plants, and other works related to the project assigned by the PI.
