Walk-In-Interview for the Recruitment of Senior Residents and Junior Residents at AIIMS, Bathinda.

1. Post Name: Junior Resident

2. Junior Residents - UR-09, OBC-05, SC-03, ST-01, EWS-02

3. Junior Resident: (Level – 10 of the Matrix (Pre-Revised PB – 3, entry pay of the ₹ 56,100/- Per Month + NPA + usual allowances admissible under rules) NPA is applicable for only Medical Candidates.

Criteria for Persons with Disabilities Candidates:
i. The disability certificate should be issued by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals / Institutions and countersigned by Medical Superintendent / CMO / Head of Hospital / Institution.
ii. Candidate applying in OBC / SC / ST Category, must possess the caste certificate issued by competent authority, valid for admission / Job in Central Govt. Institutions issued before the date of interview, failing which he / she shall not be allowed to appear in interview for the same category. However, he / she can be treated as UR Candidate.
iii. OBC certificate must have been issued in last one year. 
iv. Candidate should belong to non-creamy layer of Central List of OBC. 
v. In case candidate fails to produce valid OBC certificate for admission / Job in Central Government Institution or issued within one year at the time of interview / document verification his candidature will stand as cancelled.

Age Limit:

Upper Age Limit as on 05 May 2021 will be 30 years

Application Fees:

For PwBD Candidate: NIL General/OBC/EWS category: ₹ 1,000/-. SC/ST category: ₹ 500/-.

Documents Required

The Candidate should bring following original documents and two set of self-attested photocopies at the time ofInterview with application form:-
i. Identity Proof (PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhar Card etc.)
ii. Address Proof.
iii. Certificate showing Date of Birth. (Passport/Birth Certificate/Driving License). No Age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
iv. Four recent passport size photographs.
v. Photocopies of PAN Card and Bank Passbook (At the time of Joining for only selected candidates).
vi. Class 10th & 12th Marksheet and Certificates
b. Qualifying degree.
c. MBBS Marksheet and degree certificates.
d. MD/DNB/MS degree certificate.
e. DM/M.Ch/DNB degree certificates.
f. Attempt and Internship Certificate.
g. Registration with Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
h. Experience Certificate.
i. FMGE certificate conducted by NBE (For foreign graduate).
j. Reservation category Certificate (OBC*/SC/ST/PwBD/EWS) (*Candidate should belong to non-creamy layer ofCentral List of OBC).
k. In case of OBC candidate, the OBC and EWS certificate must be issued within one year (Older certificate not be entertained).
l. Candidates working in Government Institution- No Objection Certificate.
m. Publications.

Terms and Conditions

1. Tenure: - The appointment is for a period of 06 months. This appointment will not vest any right to claim by the candidate for permanent absorption in the institute OR for continued contractual appointment, which may be renewed or terminated as decided by the Institute. 

2. Remuneration: - The appointment will entitle the appointee to a remuneration as per payscale. 

3. Leave: - The leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed by the Institute’s leave rules as amended from time totime.

4. The Competent Authority reserves the right to change the number of vacancies, withdraw the process in full or in part and also the right to reject any or all applications received without assigning any reasons or giving notice etc.

5. The prescribed qualification is minimum requirement and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.

6. This appointment is full time and private practice of any kind is prohibited. He/She will have to work in shifts and can be posted at any place in the Institute.

7. He/She should also note that he/she will have to conform to the rules of discipline and conduct as applicable to the Institute employees.

8. No travelling or other allowances will be paid to the candidate for joining the post. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post. 

9. If any declaration given or information furnished by the candidate proves to be false or if the candidate is found to have willfully suppressed any material information, he / she will be liable to be removed from services and such action as theappointing authority may deem fit.

10. The decision of the Competent Authority regarding selection of the candidate will be final and no representations will be entertained in this regard. The decision of the committee shall be final and binding


Selection Procedure

The selection will be on the basis of the interview. The list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the website of the institute. Candidates are advised to check the Institute website regularly for information.

Walk-In-Interview will be conducted on 05 May, 2021 at 11:00 am at Ayush Building, AIIMS, Bathinda. Reporting Time for Candidates: 09:00am to 11:00am.
