The research group of Dr. R. Kannan (Assistant Professor (SLG), Department of Aerospace Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus), is inviting applications for the post of Project Associate (PA) for a sponsored project funded by Indian Navy titled “Work Order for Development of Eco-friendly Ultra Hydrophobic Coating to Counter Bio Fouling of Hull Structure / Minimise the Transfer of Invasive Aquatic Species” 

1. Post Name: Project Associate (PA)

2. Duration: 6 Months (Depending on the performance and the fund availability the project tenure can be extended)

3. Fellowship: Rs 15,000 / pm

4. Essential Qualification: Master Degree in Mechanical Engg. / Chemical Engg. / Materials Engg / Aerospace Engg / Aeronautical Engg.

5. Desirable Qualification: 

i. Aptitude towards Technical writing, Strong Knowledge in Micro-Fabrication and Surface machining process.
ii. Looking for a candidate who has the interest to register for his Ph.D. in the current academic Year
