Qualification in Details:

A. Position: Assistant Manager (Technology Support)

B. No. of Positions: 01

C. Location: Delhi

D. Minimum Qualification: Full Time Regular Degree in Engineering [Any Discipline]/ and/or BCA/ MCA

E. Minimum Experience (in Years): Full Time Regular Degree in Engineering [Any Discipline] -2 years / BCA– 4 years/ MCA– 2 years

F. Preferred Experience (Quality &/Year): Candidates with prior experience of working in the IT setup of a Travel Company shall be preferred.

G. Job Description: The incumbent shall be responsible for the following: -

1. Facilitate preparation and collation of various plans and requirements related to system/ application development/ augmentation, technical services, maintenance, and co-ordination with SBU IT Team and service providers to ensure successful implementation – Be an Enabler and Facilitator.

2. Monitor and track progress of various IT initiatives and update the same periodically (as and when required) to the SBU Operations Team.

3. Understand any issues/challenges being faced operations in adopting technology / implementing any IT initiatives and Resolve the same.

4. Maintain and update the various databases for any ongoing or upcoming IT platforms like SBT, mid-office. Track technology trends in the IT industry and also develop appreciation of the business and trends related to the same.

5. Explore opportunities to adopt new technologies/alternatives wherever relevant, place such proposals for consideration of the Top Management.

6. Monitor and ensure cost effective e-enablement of the SBU.

7. Drive implementation efforts and provide feedback to the SBU Operations Team and Top Management on the implementation of Various Systems and the future systems that are approved for being implemented, act as the SBU nodal agency as regards IT in these matters.

8. Provide technical support in the evaluation of the offers, preparation of TCRs in case of procurement of hardware software for the SBU.

9. Facilitate end-user training in house and to clients for effective usage of the systems.

10. Represent the Department in all meetings and put forth the views of the Department in the appropriate manner.

11. Any other duty that may be assigned to him/her from time to time. The above list only indicative and not exhaustive.

H. Compensation: Selected candidates will be placed on a three year fixed term contract. Compensation will be linked to qualification and experience and shall be as per the industry standards.

Max. Age 32 years.
