Applications are invited for the post of Lab Assistant in Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change funded project entitled "Hyperspectral Imaging for sharper definitions of Himalayan Ecosystems and its high value plant species under climate uncertainties" under Dr. Prashant K. Srivastava (Principal Investigator), IESD, BHU, Varanasi. The sanctioned duration of the project is three years. The posts are temporary and are co-terminus with the project.
1. Name of the Post: Lab Assistant
2. Qualification: The candidate should have Intermediate (12th) and BSc/Diploma in stream, with at least 55% marks.
3. Salary: The stipend is 12000/- pm consolidated. For this post, there will be a skill test for the selection of the candidates. The selected candidate duty is to help students in the laboratory, handling and maintenance of the laboratory equipment's, keeping records of the lab equipments and other related project activities, etc.
The upper age limit is 35 years, which is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
