1. Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (@ Rs. 31,000 + HRA 16%) in a SERB sponsored project entitled "Isolation and characterization of microbial endophytes for novel anticancer and antioxidant compounds from Oroxylum indicum" (BHU Project Code No. P-07/729) sanctioned for three years. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
2. The candidates should be M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Zoology/Botany/Microbiology/ Life Sciences/Bioinformatics/Forensic Science with at least 55 % marks and NET/GATE qualified. Preference will be given to the candidates with experience in cell culture/ microbiology/ bioinformatics. The upper age limit is 28 years; relaxable for 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC / ST/ Physically Handicapped/ Female candidates. All things being equal, SC/ ST candidate will be preferred as per GOI rules.
