Qualification in Details:

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the project entitled "Soil physicochemical properties and vegetation stress assessment using optical sensors (Project code: M-21- 228)" under Dr. Prashant K. Srivastava (Principal Investigator), IESD, BHU, Varanasi. The sanctioned duration of the project is one year. The posts are temporary and are co-terminus with the project.

2. Essential Qualifications: The candidate should have M.Sc. degree in Environmental Sciences or related subject, with at least 60% of marks and 2 years of research experience. The upper age limit is 32 years, which is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. All things being equal, SC/ ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

3. The fellowship for SRF is 35000/-pm (Consolidated).

4. Desirable qualifications: Prior research experience of remote sensing data handling and publications.

Age Limit:

The upper age limit is 32 years, which is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates.
