Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) [1 No.] to work on the following project sponsored by DST-SERB, under the supervision of Dr Sujith R, Department of Mechanical Engineering, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus. This project is about developing micro and mesoporous materials for hydrogen storage applications. The project involves synthesis of the porous adsorbents and characterizing the adsorption properties. As part of the project it is also planned to determine the optimum porous conditions required for achieving the desired storage conditions.
1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow
2. No of Post: 01
3. Title of the project: Development of mesoporous materials with enhanced hydrogen uptake for fuel cell vehicles.
4. Duration: 3 years
5. Fellowship amount: 31,000 Rs/- for the first 2 years and 35,000 Rs/- for the third year.
6. Eligibility requirement: ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering related streams with a valid GATE score.
7. Desired expertise: Materials Processing & Characterization, Knowledge about ANN & Image processing
