Applications are invited for the position of ‘Research Assistant’ in the Department of ‘Humanities and Social Sciences’ at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa, for an Govt. of India sponsored research project titled “Assessing the impact of climate change on mountain communities in Spiti Basin“
1. Principal Investigator: Dr. Rajiv Kumar Chaturvedi
2. Key skills required: Remote Sensing, GIS, R/ Python based programming, field Survey
3. Experience Required: Experience in Climate Data Analysis will be preferred
4. Duration of the project: Three Years
5. Fellowship Amount (Rs.): As per latest Govt. of India guidelines
6. Qualification: Masters in a relevant subject or B.Tech with two years of research experience in the field of relevant field.
Selected candidate will get a chance to apply for PhD degree at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus (Rules of PhD program for BITS Pilani are applicable)
Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
