Applications are invited on prescribed proforma from serving or retired eligible candidates belonging to various Ministries/ Departments of Government of India/ State Govt./Public Sector Undertakings for filling up the following Group A posts in BSF Air Wing as per BSF Air Wing Officers (Group A combatised post ) Recruitment Rules 2011 and amendments issued from time to time on (a) deputation, (b) short term contract (c) deputation cum re-employment and (d) reemployment basis:-

2. Equipment Officer/ Senior Stores Provisioning Officer (Second-inCommand) - MI -17 1V/V5 - 01
3. Pay Scale: Level 12 (Rs. 78800-209200)
4. Deputation (Including Short Term Contract)/ Absorption: Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or the Public Undertaking holding analogous or equivalent posts and possessing degree and other qualifications as specified below:-
(i) One year course in Stores Management or material Management from a recognized Institute.
(ii) Eleven years’ experience in stores provisioning and knowledge of procedure relating to purchase and imports of aviation goods and modern method of inventory control and in stores accounting and administration.
5. For Ex-servicemen:
(i) Deputation/re-employment: The Armed Forces Personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications as prescribed at I(i) and (ii) above shall also be considered and such persons shall be given deputation term up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces: thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.
6. Re-employment: The retired Armed Force personnel possessing qualifications and experience as prescribed at I(i) and (ii) above and held analogous or equivalent post in the Armed Forces of the Union and the break in service should not be more than two years.
Note-1: The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some otherOrganization or department shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
Note-2: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceeding fifty-two years on the date of receipt of application.
Note-3: The Departmental Officers who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

(i) The Advertisement will be open upto 31 Dec, 2020 subject to availability of vacancies as per the recruitment and further subject to modification/cancellation as and when become necessary.
(ii) Recruitment process of a post will be concluded on selection of suitable candidates. However, for the unfilled posts, application will continue to be accepted till 31 Dec, 2020 from the date of publication of the Advertisement in the Employment News.
(iii) The eligible applicants may submit separate applications (more than one) for different vacant posts on the prescribed proforma attached at Annexure – I & II.
(iv) The applicant shall clearly indicate the method of recruitment under which he would like to apply.
