4. Qualification:
(a) Master’s degree in concerned discipline with 55% marks in percentage system OR its equivalent grade in point scale system by a recognized University.
(b) Ph.D. degree in concerned discipline.
(c) An eminent scholar with minimum of 08 years experience of T/R/E at Assistant Professor or equivalent level (excluding period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree) in the Pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500 or revised pay scale of Rs. 15600- 39100 with grade pay of 5400/6000/7000/8000 as per 6th pay commission serving at University/College, ICAR/CSIR or any other such research organizations/institutes with evidence of published work with, a minimum of seven research publications in peer reviewed NAAS rated or UGC listed journals.
5. Desirable: Teaching Experience at UG and PG level in the concerned discipline, and research papers published in national/international refereed journals

(ii) One latest colored passport size, self attested photograph, should be pasted on the application form.
(iii) Medical fitness certificate.
(iv) Certification from Personnel Office (for in-service candidate).
(v) Reservation Certificate (if applicable).
(vi) Attested copies of certificates of essential qualifications including Testimonials, transcripts, certificates, degrees, NET, etc.
(vii) Experience certificates.
(viii) List of publications in the format provided.
(ix) Other supporting documents.
General Instructions
(1) Fresh application on prescribed format along with enclosures and a bank draft of Rs 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) for General, OBC & EWS candidates and Rs 750/- (Rupees seven hundred fifty only) for SC/ST candidates in favor of “Comptroller, Banda University of Agriculture & Technology, Banda U.P.”, payable at ‘Banda, U.P.’ by registered post/speed post on or before the closing date 30 January, 2021 (5.00 pm).
(2) No concession of Application Fee is admissible to SC/ST of other state.
(3) There is no age limit for the posts of Professor and Associate Professor. However, for the posts of Assistant Professor, upper age limit for fresh candidates shall be 40 years as on the last date of application, with relaxation of 05 years in case of OBC and SC/ST category and 15 years relaxation for PWD. 05 years relaxation to regular employee of State of UP as per GO no. 2&bZ0,[email protected]&dk&4&2013 fnukad&27-08-2013-
(4) Reservation Rules as per the State Government of Uttar Pradesh will be applicable. The claimant for reservation must furnish the certificate as applicable, issued by the competent authority.
(5) The posts will be filled on regular basis. These posts are temporary but likely to continue.
(6) The main responsibility of the recruited faculty will be teaching of UG and PG Courses, development of course curriculum and establishment of laboratories.
(7) The additional duties in research, extension, administration, development of farm & laboratories, etc. will have to be performed as and when assigned by the competent authority.
(8) University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, fill or cancel any of posts in any of the subjects/disciplines, without assigning any reason.
(9) Candidates, who wish to apply for more than one post and/or category, should submit separate Application for each post and/or category.
(10) The last date for receiving the applications in the University office is 30 January, 2021 (5.00 pm). The applications received after the last date shall stand rejected. Applicants should clearly note that the University will, in no case, be responsible for non-receipt of their applications and any delay in receipt thereof on any account.
(11) In-service candidate should send his/her application through proper channel. However, advance copy of application along with bank draft of application fee should reach before the closing date.
(12) As per the Gazette of India part III- Section 4, Dated 11 July 2016, UGC, New Delhi, “the relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Graduate and Masters level for the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/ Differently-abled (physically and visually differently-abled)/ other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-creamy layer) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic records during direct recruitment of teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% marks to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures” should be read for qualifications/eligibility criteria for all the teaching posts.
(13) An application form will be summarily rejected in the following events:
(i) If a candidate makes more than one application form for a particular post.
(ii) If the application is not in the prescribed format.
(iii) If the application is unsigned/incomplete.
(iv) If the experience certificate is without detail of salary per month received.
(v) If the experience certificate is not issued by competent authority
(vi) If the application form is received in the University after the closing date. University will not be responsible for any postal delay.
(vii) If a candidate does not possess the requisite academic qualifications on the closing date.
(viii) If the candidate is under age/over age on the closing date.
(ix) If bank draft of prescribed application fee is not attached.
(14) The envelope containing Application Proforma complete in all respects must be superscripted as Advertisement Number.“Application for the post of , Category.”.
(15) Having fulfilled the essential qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for interview. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. In case the number of candidates in given subject is large, University might conduct a written examination also for the purpose of screening before interview.
(16) No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
(17) The University is governed by the Act & Statutes of the Agriculture University Act 1958 of Uttar Pradesh, as amended from time to time.

Selection Procedure
