Walk-in-interview for one (01) purely temporary, project based positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with an emolument of Rs. 31000/- + HRA as per DST Norms under Department Of Biotechnology (Ministry of Science and Technology) funded Joint Research Project entitled "Simulation of leaf curl disease dynamics in chilli for strategic management options" will be held on 20.04.2021 at
11.00 AM in the office of Head, Division of Plant Improvement and Pest Management (Division - III), ICAR-CAZRI, Jodhpur.]

1. Name of Project: Department of Biotechnology (Ministry of Science and Technology) funded Joint Research Project entitled "Simulation of leaf curl disease dynamics in chilli for strategic management options 

2. Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

3. No. of Post: 01

4. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 + HRA per month (Only if educational qualification/ eligibility criteria as per DST 0M SWS9/Z-08/2018 dated 30 January 2019 is met).

5. Essential Qualifications: Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture (M.Sc. Ag.) with specialization in Plant Pathology[Biotechnology/Microbiology with NET/GATE qualification or Post Graduation in Botany/Biotechnology/ Microbiology with NET/GATE

6. Desirable:
1. in Biotechnology/Plant Molecular Biology/ Plant Virology or Plant Pathology
2. Basic knowledge of computer and data handling

7. Duration and other conditions: Up to 27th February, 2022 or till the expiry of the project whichever is earlier as post is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project. Appointment will be yearly based on the progress and fund availability. In case if the project is extended the candidate may be retained based on his performance for the extended period.
