1. Position : Java – Software Developer
2. CGG is conducting Online Interviews for Java – Software Developer.
3. Qualification: Should have acquired
i. B.E./B.Tech/MCA with specialization in Computers/Electronics/IT OR
ii. M.Sc in Computer Science/IT OR
iii. Master’s Degree in Physics/ Mathematics/Statistics/ Operational Research/Electronics with Either Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/ DOESEC(A level) certification OR M. Tech/M.E/MS in Computer Science/IT/ Electronics. with 60% of marks or above.
4. Experience: Minimum 3 Yrs of experience out of which 2 years in Software Development.
5. Skill Set:
i. Knowledge and experience in Core Java/J2EE/Servlets/JSP/JavaScript, OOPS, Struts Framework is compulsory
ii. Spring Framework, Hibernate technologies desirable
iii. Process methodologies – MVC, SOA Architecture
iv. Good working knowledge on Tomcat/JBoss servers
v. Developing software using Eclipse/MyEclipse IDE
vi. Should have contributed in all phases of the development life cycle
vii. Strong communication skills
6. Roles & Responsibilities:
i. Should involve and be responsible for all the stages of Software Development Life Cycle.
ii. Working closely with Project leader, business analysts, designers and other team members throughout the SDLC
iii. Actively participate in discussions with team members in design, development and implementation
iv. Evaluate and increase the program effectiveness
v. Document the tasks assigned
vi. Testing the application in real situations
