Qualification in Details:
Gujarat Livelihood Promotion Co. Ltd. (GLPC Ltd) is in the process of recruiting dynamic professionals on purely contractual basis at State level for its various posts as under.
1. Designation: General Manager
2. No of Post: 01
3. Level: Top Management
4. Vertical: Microfinance & Financial Inclusion (MF & FI)
5. Qualification: MBA/PGDM (2 years) in Finance/Banking & Finance from a recognized University
6. Experience: 12 years and above relevant to the post out of which last 5 years in Micro-finance/ Rural finance/ Banking/ Financial Institutions/ Co-operative Banking. S/he should have experience of working at the senior management level on the SHGs/federations/SHG- Bank linkage model related to community institution model. S/he should also have effective training skill and have experience of designing and implementing capacity building to community institutions. Out of the above total experience, Minimum 3 years of the experience should be in Govt./Semi Govt. Companies, Institutions, Boards, Societies, Agencies, Corporations.
7. Other Requirements: Strong Communication and Documentation skills in English, Knowledge of Hindi and Gujarati is essential Experience in Govt. Sector (PSU), Social Sector will be preferred.
8. Compensation: Upto Rs 60000/per month (commensurate with experience and Company’s Policies)
9. Role & Responsibility: General Manager will be responsible to provide directions, guidance and support to a team consisting of Project Manager (MF&FI), District Livelihood Managers, Assistant Project Manager- State (MF & FI), District Assistant Project Manager (MF&FI), Advisors, Consultants, Retired Bankers. Broad Area of Work:
a) Implementation of the MOU signed between GLPC and (State Level Banking Committee) SLBC on credit linkage of Sakhi-Mandalas/SHGs
b) Developing the Institutional framework for linking of all eligible SHGs/Sakhi Mandals with Bank Finance
c) Coordination with SLBC/NABARD/RBI/Banks and other concerned agencies.
d) Review/Updation of Guideline on grading and credit linkage of SHGs by Banks as and when felt necessary.
e) Review/Updation of Guideline on Interest Subsidy Scheme for Women SHGs as and when felt necessary.
f) Developing and Implementing the Institutional framework for Issue of Artisan Credit Card and other Credit Cards for the targeted Clientele such as Kishan Credit Cards etc. within the framework of the policy of the company.
g) Coordinating with all the other concerned verticals of the company in which Institutional Finance is involved for the implementation of Livelihood Programmes.
h) Representing GLPC in various meetings/Forums as and when necessary.
i) Follow up, Monitoring and review of the progress on credit Linkages under the various programmes of NRLM.
j) Attending to the Correspondence emanating from various departments/ agencies/organizations on a day to day basis.

a) Recruitment: Recruitment for positions at State, District, Bloc and Cluster through an external Recruitment Agency
b) Job Descriptions and Job Specifications: Designing Job Descriptions across all levels and for all Verticals for PMS, TNA & CB Needs
c) Induction and Orientation
d) Govt. Procedure Training: Knowledge about Govt. Systems, procedures and protocols.
e) Skill Gap Analysis: Carry out skill Gap Analysis by development of Skill Mapping format for identifying next phase of training needs.
f) Capacity Building: Develop Training Plan and Training Calendar for the employees based on Skill Map Analysis for the phase wise development of Training Modules and continuous process of Capacity Building.
g) Annual Performance Appraisal: Design and Develop formats for Annual Performance Appraisal for the GLPC employees.
h) Policies: Policies related to Compensation, Transfer, Promotion, Interns, Short Term Consultants, Grievance Redressal and Exit
i) Development of HR Policy & Manuals: Development of a uniform and comprehensive HR Policy by the development of Human Resource, Capacity Building and Performance Appraisal & Incentive Manual
j) Employees Empowerment, Employee Engagement, Employee Retention
k) Entire HR Generalist Profile
l) Administrative Support: Provision of adequate Human Resource, Office utilities, Logistics arrangements, Facilities maintenance, Tackling all disciplinary issues with suitable action , Conduct of Timely Meetings, Vendor Management, issuing of necessary Orders, Circulars & Notices, Monitoring the work of outsourced staff
m) Record Management: Maintenance of Company Records (Certificate of Incorporation, MOA, AOA, Share Certificates, Board Meeting Minutes), chronological records with segregation and grading of top priority correspondences, Classification of Files, Documentation, Archives etc.
n) Liaison and Coordination: Liaison with Govt. Departments and Ministry for the compilation, circulation and dissemination of required information.
o) Other Activities as and when required: Statutory Compliances under Companies Act, 1956: This includes preparation of Agenda for timely conduct of Board Meetings, Audit Committee Meeting, Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders etc. Compilation of Minutes and its circulation for approval and further necessary action
p) Annual Action Plan: Preparation of Annual Action Plan with Physical & Financial targets specifying tasks, timelines, procedures, budget allocation & outcomes for HR & Admin
q) Tender Documents : Finalization of tender documents with detailed TOR and scope of work for hiring of organization for services through competitive bidding
r) Legal issues: Handling legal cases being the Nodal Legal officer
s) Any other task as and when required

General Information
1. Only Indian Nationals need to apply. The numbers of vacancies indicated above are provisional and may be increased or decreased depending on the actual requirement of the GLPC.
2. Experience of the candidate shall be calculated only after completion of graduation.
3. Out of total experience, 3 years of the experience should be in Govt. / Semi Govt. Companies, Institutions, Boards, Societies, Agencies, Corporations. In case of candidate failed to satisfy above criteria, GLPC holds the right to disqualify such applications at any stage of recruitment process and even after recruitment.
4. Before filling up the Application form, the candidates must go through the detailed Advertisement. Please proceed to fill the application form only ifyou are satisfied that you possess the minimum Essential Qualifications stipulated for the post, otherwise, submitted application(s) shall be rejected outright.
5. 8. All the qualifications must be from recognized Indian Universities / Boards / Institutions only. Applicants having qualifications from any other countries shall upload equivalency certificate from UGC/AIU.

11. Addendum/deletion/corrigendum (if any) shall be posted on the GLPC’s Website only i.e www.glpc.co.in .
12. The list of shortlisted candidates will be informed via Email. There willbe no separate communication for candidates who are not shortlisted. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
13. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the GLPC shall be final andbinding.
14. Any dispute arising out of this advertisement shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the courts or tribunals situated Gandhinagar , Gujarat only
15. GLPC reserves the right to not select any candidate for above post or cancel the advertisement at any stage without assigning any reason.
16. Records of the candidate not selected shall be preserve only for a period of One Year from the date of publication of the list of selected candidates,
17. Applicants by virtue of the act of application, commit themselves to the highest standards of the ethical practices. Fraudulent documents, canvassing in any form or influencing the process of recruitment at any stage shall not only result in rejection of the application but may also lead to legal action.
18. Experience of the candidate shall be calculated only after completion of graduation.

Selection Procedure
The applications received in response to the advertisement shall be scrutinized and only candidates shortlisted from valid applications on the basis of criteria like age, educational qualification, experience etc. shall be called for Interview. The interview for shortlisted candidates will be conducted either in- person at GLPC. The authorities reserve all rights, not to call an applicant for Interview, without assigning any reason.
1. The prescribed Essential Qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
2. Based on the grading of Application Form, Candidates will be called for Personal Interview. Detailed Job Description, Specifications, Eligibility Criteria, Experience and other important instructions related to submission of applications will be posted on www.glpc.co.in on the date of advertisement.
3. Venue of Personal Interview etc. will also be intimated to shortlisted candidate’s email address [mentioned in application form by candidates].
