Qualification in Details:

A walk-in-interview is scheduled on 16th December 2020 at 10:00 AM onwards. The candidates willing to appear in the interview are requested to go through the advertisement thoroughly and ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria. The candidates are requested to bring all educational and experience certificates (in original & one set of photocopies) on the aforesaid date & time along with original photo identity issued (preferably AADHAAR) by the Government of India.

1. Name of the Post: Academic Assistant/ Academic Associate

2. Qualifications: 

a) Academic Assistants: A post-graduate with first class. Relevant experience either in academics or industry, or an M. Phil [or higher qualifications] will be preferred. Candidates with qualifications like ACA, AICWA, B.Tech. / B.E., MCA will also be eligible.

b) Academic Associates: Ph.D. in the relevant area.

3. Remuneration: 

a) Academic Assistants: An Academic Assistant will be paid a stipend of Rs. 23,000/- to 27,500/- p.m.

b) Academic Associates: An Academic Associate will be paid a stipend of Rs. 28,000/- to 34,000/- p.m

4. Duration: Appointments will be made purely on contract basis for a maximum period upto 11 months w.e.f 1st June to 30th April of every academic year. Based on the performance of the AAs, they may be recommended for re-engagement for another term. It is expected that an AA spends a maximum of three terms and leave the Institute to take up higher academic positions.

5. Responsibilities: The selected candidate will initially be engaged for Experiential Learning activities. S/he may also be assigned any other duties like assisting faculty members in teaching (including evaluation, development of courses and teaching material, marking attendance and evaluation of participation in class), invigilation duty, research and consultancy projects, MDPs, secretarial assistance, and other academic activities. They may also be given any other responsibilities by the Institute from time to time.
