Applications are invited for the post of Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer (temporary positions-contractual appointments) for Information Technology and infrastructure services (ITIS) unit for a period of three years. The contract may be extended based on need of the Institute and performance of candidate.

3. Essential Qualification:
MTech/ME/MS in Computer Science and Engineering/Information technology or equivalent with three years of relevant experience OR B.Tech./ B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent with five years of relevant experience. OR M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with eight years of relevant experience. OR M.C.A. from a recognized University or statutory body with eight years of relevant experience
4. Desirable Qualification:
a. Programming in Java 8 or higher, J2EE, C, C++, Python
b. Knowledge of Data Structure and Algorithm
c. Knowledge of software engineering
d. Project management and documentation like SRS, FRS, and BRD etc.
e. Project Experience in Java Streams
f. Troubleshooting performance and resolving issues with coding & design.
g. Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
h. Experience of developing web services using containers and controllers on Tomcat.
i. Hands on experience in handling JSON/XML, Java Script, jQuery, HTML5, Bootstrap etc.
j. Extensive experience designing and, developing RESTful APIs, Microservices and Webservices.
k. Experience in SQL and noSQL databases.
5. Duties And Responsibilities:
a. Develop software solutions by
i. studying needs conferring with users,
ii. studying existing systems working flow, data usage and work processes etc. and
b. following the software development lifecycle
c. Develop high-quality software design and architecture
d. Document development: SRS, FRS, BRD etc.
e. Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
f. Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
g. Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
h. Review and debug code
i. Help validation and testing with Q&A team
j. Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
6. Emoluments (INR): Rs. 65000 – Rs. 75000
Upper Age Limit: 50 Years (as on closing date of application)
1. No TA/DA will be payable to candidates appearing for the interview.
2. Institute reserves its rights to cancel the advertisement for any reason whatsoever.
