Advertisement for the post of Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under ‘DSTSERB (CRG)’ at Institute of Nano Science and Technology
Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for engagement of Project Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the research project funded by ‘DSTSERB/CRG’ scheme, Government of India at Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.
1. Title of the Research Project: Design strategies for the development of nonprecious metal-based air electrode for rechargeable metal-air batteries: Unveiling the chemistry of active sites.
2. Principal Investigator: Dr. Ramendra Sundar Dey
3. Name of the position available: Junior Research Fellow
4. Number of positions available: One
5. Qualifications: Essential: M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry/Physics or M. Tech. degree in Matewrial Sceience/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology with NET/GATE/GPAT qualification.
6. Desirable: Research Experience in Electrochemistry/Materials science/Nanoscience &Nanotechnology will be given preferences.
7. Project duration: Initially one year and may be extended based on performance of the candidate upto 3 yrs.
8. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- (pm) + 16 % HRA

1. The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years. The position is co-terminus with the project. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program of INST provided they satisfy eligibility criteria.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
3. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented along with the self-attested photocopies of these documents at the time of interview
