Qualification in Details:

Appointment of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) UNDER Emeritus Scientist Scheme Title of scheme : In silico and in vitro anticancer screening of selective phyto compounds as inhibitor of matrix metalloproteases: A target of cancer cell invasion.

1. Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

2. No of Posts: 1 (one)

3. Duration of project: Till 25th Oct, 2023 or till the Emeritus Scientist is in position at ICAR-IVRI.

4. Qualification: MVSc / MSc ( Biochemistry / Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Animal Sciences, with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification & 2years research experience (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)

5. Desirable: Knowledge of animal cell culture, molecular biology techniques including RT-PCR, PAGE and computer handling.

6. Pay scale: Rs. 31,000/- per month for 1st and 2nd year + HRA, Rs. 35,000/- per month for 3rd year + HRA (F. No. Ag. Edn. 6/27/ 2014HRD Datecl 30th JuLy,2019 )HRA will be paid as per Central Government norms

Age Limit:

Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on the date of interview and relaxed for SC/ST and OBC as per Govt of India rules.
