Online Applications are invited from the eligible Indian candidates in the prescribed proforma for following posts at LNIPE, Gwalior and/or its NERC, Guwahati, as indicated against them, which are however transferable anywhere in India:-

1. Name of Post: Registrar

2. No.of. Posts: 01

3. (i) Master's Degree with at least 55oh of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. (iD At least l5 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level-11 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level-12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education, OR 1 5 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

2. No.of. Posts: 01

3.E.Q. (D Master's Degree with at least 55oh of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. (iD 9 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level-10 and above with experience in educational administration: OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education; 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in equivalent post.

3. Master's Degree with at least 55o/o of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.

Age Limit:

(For five years tenure or attaining superannuation age (62 yrs.), whichever is earlier, which can be renewed for similar terms)

Application Fee 1000/- and 300/- (portal charges fee non-refundable) for UR & OBC Category and no application fee but only < 300/- (porlal charges fee non-refundable) for SC/ST/PWD (Divyang) Candidates

General Instructions:

1. ONLINE PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE AND SUBMISSION OF FILLED IN APPLICATIONS: i. Application Fee {i000/- and t 300/- (portal charges fee non-refundable) for UR & OBC Category and no application fee but only < 300/- (porlal charges fee non-refundable) for SC/ST/PWD (Divyang) Candidates. ii. Payment shall be made through online portal only.

2. Applicants are advised to submit online applications against each post to the Institute well in advance, without waiting for the iast date.

3. The candidates desire to be considered for the post at Gwalior as well as NERC, Guwahati, wilt be required to submit applicat ions separately.

4. The qualifications, experience, upper age-limit etc. is in accordance with the provisions of LNIPE SBCSR, and LNIPE Service (Recruitment) Rules (Revised as per UGC/DoPT time to time), which are available on the Institute's web-site www.lnipe.edu.in. The Institute may offer lower post to a candidate, who may have applied for a higher post, in case the Selection Committee recommends so. The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him/her for being called for interview.

5. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of academic score which may be higher than the minimum prescribed as decided by duly constituted Screening Comrnittee/s and approved by the Competent Authority.

6. Call letters for attending interview will be sent only to the short-listed candidates by Speed Post/Registered Post/Courier service/e-mail. No correspondence will be made with applicants who have not been shortlisted/not called for interview. In case the Institute receives large number ofapplications for a particular post, the Institute in such cases reserves the right to adopt stringent criteria for shortlisting candidates to be called for interview either by conducting a written test or adopting a marking system as approved by Competent Authority. a) Reservations for SC, ST, OBC and Persons with Disabilities will be as per Government of India norms as amended from time to time. Candidates applying for the Reserved Posts should clearly state to which category they belong.
 

7. They must also enclose a Cerlificate issued by Tahsildar/Mandal Revenue Officer/ Equivalent authority as proof to this effect, without which the applications will not be considered. b) In case a candidate wants to claim benehts under the Persons with Disabilities category, the Proof,, to this effect, must be enclosed with the application, without which the application will be treated as'unreserved'. c)

8.Candidate applying for the post (s) reserved for O.B.C., must submit an attested copy of caste certificate specifically mentioning Creamy Layer-exclusion in the format prescribed by Govt. of India, issued by competent authority, vide Column 3 of G.O.I. Deptt. of Personnel and Training O.M. No. 36012122193-Estt.(SCT) dated 8.9.1993 and modifieo vide DOPT's O.M. No. 3603313/2004-Estt.(Res) dated

9.3.2004, subsequently revised vide O.M. No.36033/3/2004- Estt.(Res) dated 14.10.2008, without which applications will not be considered. The form of Caste Cerlificate must be in the format as prescribed by the Golt. of India; otherwise the application will be summarily rejected without further consideration. d) Reservation guidelines of Govt. of India, if revised in future shall be applicable & implemented accordingly.

10.The Institute reserves the right to relax any ofthe qualifications, experience, etc., in deserving cases in respect ofany post. Candidates shall not claim it as a right. (i) The Institute may also include the details with regard to anticipated vacancies arising due to retirement/resignation of employee/s of that particular year which shall be filled through the instant adveftisement. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill up or to increase or decrease the posts advertised for any reasons whatsoever. (ii) The Institute may draw a panel in the form of a waiting list to fill up a post. In case a candidate on higher merit regrets to join within a period of one year or resigns/dies after joining, within a period of one year, the offer shall bemade to the next candidate on the merit, if otherwsie in order, to reduce the delay in filling up of the vacancies. Such a vacancy should not be treated as fresh vacancy. (Reference: DoPT OM No. 41010/18/97-Esn(B) dated 13th June, 2000) (iii) The Institute reserves the right to withdraw an advertisement, either partly or wholly, at any time without assigning any reason. (iv) If any advertisement for any post is withdrawn by the Institute, the application fee collected from the candidates shall be refunded. (v) Qualifications/ Experiences/ Age etc. as on closing date of advertisement will only be taken into consideration.

11. Selection will be made on the basis of candidates' previous record and their performance in the interview. The Institute may utilize seminar /colloquium/Lecture and/or any other mode as a supplementary method in selection process

12. 13. Those who have joined I are joining the University service on or after lst January, 2004 are covered under new pension scheme introduced by the Government of India (Central Government). For those appointed on deputation, the term of deputation shall be governed by Government of India rules.

14. The Institute also reserves the right to select candidates with higher qualifications than what is specified or those with different specialization.
 

15. No application of probationer for employment in other institution shall be forwarded.

16. Canvassing in any form on behalf of any candidate shall be treated as a disqualification which shall lead to cancellation of candidature.

17 . Candidates should carefully read teachingkesearch requirements of the relevant discipline and apply only if they have requisite qualifications and experience. However, those who do not meet the academic standards and requirements should not apply for the sake of applying.

18. The candidates selected for appointment are expected tojoin at the earliest.
 

19. A candidate belonging to any reserved category who desires to be considered for any Unreserved post also besides the posts under reserved category, will have to submit separate forms for Unreserved posts with requisite application fee.

20. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issuance of appointment letter, the Institute reserves right to modi$'/withdradcancel any communication made to the candidate.

21. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may arise due to incomplete applications and those received after the closing date shall be summarily rejected without making any reference to the candidates.

22. In case of any error in the process of selection, the decision of the Institute Authorities shall be final and bindins to the conoerned.
 

23. The Institute shall have the right to withdraw the advertisement of a particular post(s) or complete advertisement due to administrative reason(s).
 

24. In case of any dispute, any suit or legal proceedings against the Institute, the jurisdiction shall be exclusively ofthe High Court Bench, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh and of Court at Gwalior. Jurisdiction of any other Court shall stand excluded.
 

25. The applicants shall ensure to submit duly filled application form online on or before 30th May,2020. Note: - The advertisement No. E-109/64 dated 17.02.2017 stands cancelled in relation to the posts mentioned at Serial No. 11, 12 and 13 in the present advertisement because of subsequent events and non initiation of recrqitment process for more than three years.


Selection Procedure

Selection will be made on the basis of candidates' previous record and their performance in the interview. The Institute may utilize seminar /colloquium/Lecturer and/or any other mode as a supplementary method in the selection process
