a) Rural Development: Accessing Public Utilities in smaller village in Tamil Nadu

b) Developing an Information System to Optimize Religious Tourism in Tamil Nadu

c) Water Resources Management: Geo-Spatial Tank Information System (GTIS) For Sustainable Water and Environmental Planning

d) Design of Collaborative Information Systems for Entrepreneurial Development

e) Analysis of Archaeological Material Remains through Geoarchaeology, Geo-Micro Fossils and Literary Sources

4. Qualification: 

a) Ph.D., degree in any of the specified discipline – Economics / Econometrics / Management Studies / Sociology / Politics and Public Administration and Education

b) Ph.D., degree in any of the specified discipline – Computer Science / Tourism/ Comparative Religion/ Library & Information Science

c) Ph.D., in Geography/ History/ Environmental Sciences.

d) Ph.D., in Management

e) Ph.D., in Ancient History and Archaeology.

5. Desirable Qualification: 

a) The Project Fellow should do work full time in the Project

b) Working knowledge in Webpage designing, and soft ware such as MySQL, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc., Reading and writing knowledge in English and Tamil

c) Research experience in GeoInformatic analysis and Environmental Analysis

d) Preferably specialization in systems

e) Knowledge in prehistoric period, palaeoclimatic studies, geology, Tamil Literature, Statistics and Computer application
