Applications are invited from eligible candidates to work as Project Assistants in the Research Projects sanctioned to Investigators under RUSA – Phase-II, Component 10 - Research, Innovation & Quality Improvement in various Schools in Madurai Kamaraj University.
1. No. of Fellowships: 123 (One Hundred and Twenty Three)
2. Fellowship: A consolidated amount of Rs. 16,000 (Rupees Sixteen Thousand only) Per Month
3. Duration: 24 Months or coterminous with the project.
4. Qualification: P.G. Degree in the Relevant Discipline with minimum of 55% of Marks.
Essential Qualification:
1. Biological Sciences: 14 M.Sc. in Botany / Zoology / Genetics / Genomics / Microbiology / Biomedical Science / Biochemistry / or its equivalent / M.Tech, in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics
2. Biotechnology: 11 M.Sc., in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Biology / Zoology / Botany / Environmental Science / Microbiology or its equivalent / M.Tech, in Biotechnology|
3. Business Studies: 11 M.B.A. / M.Com
4. Chemistry: 15 M.Sc., in Chemistry / Nanoscience / Physics / Materials Science
5. Earth and Atmospheric Sciences: 06 M.Sc., in Geography / Earth Remote Sensing and Geoinformation Technology / M.Tech in Geo-Spatial Technology
6. Economics: 11 M.A. in Economics / M.Sc. in Mathematical Economics
7. Education: 04 M.P.Ed
8. Energy, Environment and Natural Resources: 05 M.Sc. in Environmental Science / Marine Biology / Zoology / Physics / Microbiology / Energy Science
