The following positions have to be filled purely on temporary basis under the project entitled "Evaluation of WHO Verbal Autopsy Tool for assigning cause of death in rural India: A mixed method study" under ICMR-National Institute of Medical Statistics, New Delhi.

5. Essential Qualification and Experience: Graduate in Biostatistics/ Statistics/ Anthropology / Social Work/ Sociology/ Psychology or any other Science discipline from a recognized university with three years' work experience OR Master's degree in the above subjects
6. Place of Work and Posting: ICMR-NIMS New Delhi & ICMR-NJIL&OMD-MRHRU Ghatampur, Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh)
7. Desirable Experience: Experience in research, data collection, statistical analysis and report writing
Age Limit:
Below 30 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC as per central government rules.
General Terms and Conditions:
1. The Post is to be filled on purely temporary basis till the project lasts.
2. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments at ICMR-NIMS or the ICMR or any other institute of the Council or claim continuation of his/her service in any other project.
3. No other benefits are admissible as per ICMR rules. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4. Leave shall be as per ICMR rules for project staff
5. Age relaxation will be as per Govt. of India norms.
6. Qualification and experience should be from recognized a university/ organization/ institution.
7. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification
8. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee the selection.
9. Appointing authority reserves the right to consider or reject any application/candidature.
10. Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
11. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification and the decision of the Selection Committee will be final.
Selection Procedure
Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal discussion by video conferencing (link will be provided by ICMR-NIMS) or in person depending upon the pandemic situation.
