NITI Aayog is looking for young, talented, innovative and dynamic Professionals in Blue economy/ Circular Economy areas of Industry Sector who desire to be a part of the team that is scripting the exciting transformation story which is unfolding in India today. Details of the same are given below:
1. Name of position: Consultant Grade-I
2. Number of positions: 1
3. Period of Contract: For a period of 3 Years.
4. Remuneration (per month): Rs. 80,000/- to 1,45,000/-
5. Essential: Master’s Degree in Economics/Public Policy or in relevant subject or BE/B.Tech. “or possessing any Professional Degree earned after a study of 4 years or more acquired after 10+2”.
6. Desirable: Persons with M. Tech, M.B.A, additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred.
7. Experience:
a. At least 3 years of post-essential qualification experience work in Industry/ PSU/ Government/ Consultancy/ International Development Agency/ Research Organisation. Should have familiarity with the subject.
b. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in public policy domain of Industry/ Environmental issues / development policy and/or monitoring projects and schemes.
8. Job description/Requirements: The work will be in the domain of Blue economy, circular economyand material recycling. The tasks/ activities will be related to:
1. preparation of concept notes, designing initiatives and monitoring framework
2. review of existing work and monitoring developments in the domain
3. organizing consultations
4. commissioning studies, formulation and evaluation of project proposals.
5. other initiatives/ activities with the progress of work
Candidates should be below 45 years of age as on the date of advertisement.
Method of recruitment: Contract Based through Open Market
1. The terms and conditions of engagement of Consultant Grade 1 will be according to the NITI guidelines O.M. no. A-12013/02/2015-Adm. I(B) dated 29.07.2020. The guidelines are placed on NITI Aayog’s website www.niti.gov.in.
