NITI Aayog is looking for young, talented, innovative and dynamic Professionals in Voluntary Action Cell (VAC) Vertical of NITI Aayog who desire to be a part of the team that is scripting the exciting transformation story which is unfolding in India today. Details of the same are given below:
1. Name of position: Consultant Grade I
2. Number of positions: 1 (One)
3. Period of Contract For a period of 3 Years.
4. Remuneration (per month): Rs. 80,000-1,45,000
5. Essential: Master’s Degree in Statistics/Maths/Computer Science / Data Science and Engineering/Big Data Analytics / Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Application areas. “or possessing any Professional Degree earned after a study of 4 years or more acquired after 10+2”.
6. Desirable: Persons with additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred
7. Experience: Minimum 03 years of experience on the above-mentioned subjects with reputed International/national organization. Desirable: Publication in leading International/national Journals and the popular press would be an advantage.
8. Job description/Requirements:
Tasks Related to Assignment and any other task incidental thereto:
i. To streamline the NGOs/CSOs by inviting them to Sign Up/Register on NGO Darpan Portal of NITI Aayog and providing them Unique identification number after due verification of NGO credentials, which is further applicable for availing NGO Grants from Central Ministries/Departments and States.
ii. To maintain the database of NGOs/VOs/CSOs, which are Signed Up/Registered on NGO Darpan Portal of NITI Aayog.
iii. To Coordinate with Central Ministries/Departments in collating the information of Grant in Aid Schemes/Programmes implemented by them through NGOs/CSOs and to display it on a single platform for assistance/benefit of NGOs/CSOs.
iv. To coordinate regularly with PFMS to collate data regarding Grant released to NGOs/CSOs by Ministries/Departments and maintaining its database also.
v. To encourage Working Committee members to convene timely meetings, to complete their field visits and to submit reports to NITI Aayog.
vi. To make data analytics from time to time and generate reports to PMO and other line Ministries.
vii. Report writing, making briefings, dealing with Policy matters related to VAC

Method of recruitment Contract Based through Open Market
1. The terms and conditions of engagement of Consultant Grade I will be according to the NITI guidelines O.M. no. A-12013/02/2015-Adm. I(B) dated 29.07.2020. The guidelines are placed on NITI Aayog’s website www.niti.gov.in.
