Oil India Limited (OIL) invite applications from eligible candidates for the following positions in work person category at Oil India Limited (OIL), Rajasthan Field, Jodhpur as per details given below:

3. Scale of Pay: Grade - VIII, Rs.17,000-38,000/-

4. Educational Qualification: 3 year Diploma in Civil Engineering from Govt. recognized University or Institute. Six months Diploma / Certificate in Computer Application and should be fully conversant with MS Office

Age Limit:

As on 20/01/2021: General: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years, sc/st: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years, Persons with Bench mark Disability / Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Directives

Application Fees:

Non Refundable Registration Fees of Rs. 200/- (excluding bank charges and GST etc.) will be charged from the candidates belonging to General and OBC category only.

General Instruction

1. Candidate must be an Indian National and possess a Valid Certificate of Domicile of the State of Rajasthan at the time of Online Application. The candidates will have to submit a Certificate of Domicile from the Rajasthan State at the time of Uploading documents and produce the original during Skill & Proficiency Test / Pre-EmpIoyment Medical Examination.

2. Candidate(s) are advised to carefully read the full advertisement for details of eligibility criteria and selection modalities before submission of application and they are advised to furnish the correct information about their qualification, age, category etc.

3. Candidate(s) are advised to complete the submission of application sufficiently in advance before the last date so as to avoid last minute rush.

4. The details furnished by the candidate at the time of online application process including qualification details with percentage will be treated as final and hence, no request for change [addition/ deletion will be entertained at a later stage. Candidate(s) shall bc wholly /exclusively responsible for the information provided at the time of his/her Online Application.

5. The candidate must possess qualifications recognized by the relevant statutory bodies like State or Central Boards/ UGC etc. Trade Certificate should necessarily be a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT/ SCVT. Qualifications acquired through distance learning shall also be accepted provided they have been recognized by the relevant statutory bodies.

6. For post where Trade Certificate in Electrician trade is prescribed qualification, Trade Certificate in Wireman trade or other shall not be acceptable.

7. For the posts mentioned above where one of the qualifications prescribed is a Certificate/ Diploma of minimum duration of 6 months in Computer Applications in the MS Office Environment, a B.C.A. or an M.C.A. or a B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science / Engineering shall not be accepted in place of a Certificate / Diploma of minimum 6 months. The Certificate / Diploma should be attributable to Computer Applications and should clearly mention that the candidate has studied the course involving Office Environment such as applications of MS word, Excel (Spread Sheet) etc.

8. Valid caste certificate by SC/ ST candidate(s) in the prescribed format as per Government of India Guidelines ( available at https: / / www.oil- india.com/Current openings )and issued by competent authority indicating clearly the candidate's caste /community , the Act / Order under which the caste is recognized as SC/ ST. Please note that no other format of SC/ ST caste certificate shall be accepted.

9. Candidate(s) who are Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) will have to upload disability certificate at the time of application in support of their claims clearly indicating that the degree of physical disability is 40% or more, in the prescribed format (available at https://oil- india.com/Current opening.aspx), as per Government of India Guidelines issued by the Notified Medical Authority. Please note that no other format of PwBD certificate shall be accepted.

10. facility at own cost and arrangement will have to choose appropriate option while applying online and upload scanned copy of relevant declaration by the candidate such as (i) Certificate in the specified format to the effect that the person concerned has physical limitation to operate computer , and scribe is essential to operate Computer and type for examination on his/her behalf, from the Chief Medical Officer/ Civil Surgeon/ Medical of a Govt. health care institution, (ii) Specimen Signature & coloured passport photograph of the scribe. The respective scanned image resolution and format for passport photo, signature and required certificates should be as referred under the heading 'Instructions regarding scanning of photograph, Signature and Certificates' in 'How to Apply' part.

11. In case of Ex-servicemen, candidate(s) must upload valid Discharge Book / Service and release certificate along with the application.

12. Candidates who are Ex-Servicemen and whose exrx•rience of service in the Armed forces have been equated by the Government of India with an induction level qualification prescribed in this advertisement, then the said experience shall be acceptable as an induction level qualification for the said posts in this recruitment. The Ex-Servicemen candidate shall however have to produce an equivalency certificate stating that their qualification have been equated with the prescribed qualification in this advertisement failing which their candidature will not be considered.

13. For posts where no vacancies earmarked for Reserved Category, the reserved category candidate can apply against unreserved vacancies. However, he / she may indicate actual category in the online application so as to avail fee concession. His / her candidature shall however be treated at par with General category candidate.

14. Candidate(s) employed in Govt./Semi-Govt. / PSU are required to submit 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC).

15. The candidate must have an active E-mail ID and Mobile Number which must be valid till the process of recruitment is over. Same E-mail ID and mobile number cannot be used by any other candidate for submitting application against this notification.

16. Candidate(s), who are short-listed for CBT / Skill & Proficiency Test, shall receive their Admit Cards online for appearing in the respective Test(s). Mere issue of admit card to the candidate(s) for the selection stages will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally accepted by OIL.

17. OIL will not be responsible for any loss / non-delivery of Email due to invalid/ wrong Email ID furnished by the candidate or due to delivery of emails to spam/ bulk mail folder.

18. Candidate(s) will be required to carry a Government issued Photo Identity Proof for the CBT and Skill & Proficiency Test. The original Photo Identity Proof shall be checked and verified during the tests. A self-attested photocopy Of the same shall also be collected along with the Admit Card during the CBT and Skill & Proficiency test. Candidate(s) are advised to retain a copy of the Admit Card for future reference. Valid Govt. Photo Identity Proof like Driving License, Aadhaar Card, PAN card, Voter ID card, Passport etc. shall be accepted. Candidate(s) without valid Govt. Photo Identity Proof shall not be allowed to appear for the CBT and Skill & Proficiency Test, wherever applicable.

19. Candidate(s) shall have to make their own arrangement for lodging and boarding for appearing in Computer Based Test (CBT) and Skill & Proficiency Test. No accommodation or arrangement for keeping documents or belongings shall be provided during the entire selection process.

20. Any tempering of Admit Card or other documents will lead to disqualification of the candidate at any stage of selection process including debarring from appearing in the Test(s).

Documents

Candidate(s) should keep the following documents ready to be uploaded while applying online:

1. Copy of recent passport size coloured photograph.

2. Admit Card or Pass Certificate of Class 10 issued by the concerned Board of Education/ Graduation Certificate issued by the recognised University by UGC as Applicable.

3. Caste Certificate SC/ ST, if applicable.

4. Valid Disability Certificate if applicable.

5. Valid Certificate/ Declaration for use of Scribe by PwBD candidate, if applicable.

6. Valid discharge Book/ Service and release certificate for Ex-Servicemen (page containing personal particulars and service particulars), if applicable.

7. Valid Certificate of Domicile of the State of Rajasthan.

8. Signature of Candidate.


Selection Procedure

A. The Selection Procedure and candidate screening for Oil India Limited Junior Assistant I, Senior Assistant I and more Vacancies post is given below. The Official PDF for the selection procedure of Oil India Limited is provided here.

Selection process shall consist of Stage-I: Computer Based Test (CBT) and Stage- II: Skill & Proficiency Test. However, in respect of some posts, Stage-II test will not be held. 

Stage- I: Computer Based Test (CBT): 

1. The type/ mode of questions will be in a multiple choice question (MCQ) format and the answers are to be submitted online/computer interface at the assigned Test Centre.

2. Total marks in the CBT will be 100, with one (01) mark for each correct answer. 3. There will be negative marking in CBT, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

4. CBT will be bilingual i.e. English & Hindi.

5. Total duration of the test will be 02(two) hours.

6. Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) may opt for Scribe as per Govt. Directives. In such case compensatory time of 40 minutes (i.e. 20 minutes per hour) shall be given.

7. To qualify in Computer Based Test (CBT) a Candidate has to secure minimum 50% marks (40% for SC, ST and PwBD).

Stage- II: Skill & proficiency Test: 

1. For the posts of Junior Assistant-I (Clerk cum Computer Operator) and Sr. Assistant-I (Hindi Translator), candidate has to secure minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Test (CBT) to be called for Skill & Proficiency Test.

2. However, merely securing qualifying marks in Computer Based Test (CBT) will not make candidate(s) eligible to appear in Skill & Proficiency Test. Candidate(s) will be shortlisted for Skill & Proficiency Test based in the order of merit in CBT in the ratio of 1:2 [i.e. for one vacancy, two candidates will be shortlisted in the order of merit in CBT with due cognizance to number of reserved posts].

3. After applying the criteria for shortlisting for Skill & Proficiency Test as given in 5.2(ii) above, if there is a tie of scores of two or more candidates in Computer Based Test (CBT), then all candidates with the tied marks in the Computer Based Test (CBT) shall be shortlisted for Skill & Proficiency Test.

4. Skill & Proficiency Test will be of qualifying nature and will not carry weightage. The pass marks to qualify in Skill & Proficiency Test is Minimum 50% (Fifty Percent). The candidate who fails to secure minimum 50%( Fifty Percent) marks in Skill & Proficiency Test shall not qualify for final selection. The final Merit List shall prepared in order of merit based on Computer Based Test (CBT) marks of those candidate(s) who qualify in Skill & Proficiency Test.

5. In case all the Candidate(s) are found to be UNFIT or the number of Candidate(s) who have qualified in the Skill & Proficiency Test are less than the number- of notified vacancy, then the next Candidate(s) in order of merit in CBT, as available as per the ratio 1:2 who have qualified in the CBT shall be called for Skill & Proficiency Test. This process will repeated till such time all vacancies are filled up, subject to availability of qualified Candidate(s).

Final Merit List: The final Merit List shall be prepared in order of merit based on Computer Based Test (CBT) marks. If in the final merit list for selection, the total marks in CBT of more than one candidate who are in the zone of vacancy(ies) are same, then the candidate who scores more marks in Part-C(Domain or Relevant to subject knowledge) of CBT shall be given preference. In case the marks in Part-C are same, then the candidate who scores more marks in Part-B (Reasoning, Arithmetic/ Numerical & Mental Ability) of CBT shall be given preference. In case the marks in Part- B are also same then the marks in Part-A will also be same. In such event, the candidate older in age shall be given preference in the merit list.
