Applications are invited for filling up the post of Research Assistant in the Centre for Agricultural Policy & Marketing Research under the control of Directorate of Research on contractual basis at the fixed salary of Rs.25,000/- per month (fixed) for M.Sc. and Rs. 30,000- per month (fixed) for Ph.D.

3. The qualifications prescribed for the post are as under:
a. B.Sc. Agri/ B.A. with Economics/B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics /B.Sc. Agri (Hans)/ B.Sc. (Economics)/ B.Sc. (Hoyt.)! B.Sc. (Forestry)/ B.Sc. (Agri-MaCo)/ B.Com/ Bachelor in Business Administration/ Bachelor in Business Economics.
b. Master degree in Agricultural Economics/ Economics/Business Economics
c. At least 60% at Bachelor's level and 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 at Master's level.
d. Must have passed Punjabi language at Matric level from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board (as first or second language).

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
1. The desirous candidates fulfilling the qualifications should send their applications on plain paper complete in all respect alongwith attested copies of the testimonials and a Bank Draft of Rs.200/- in favour of Comptroller, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to the Director of Research, Thapar Hall Building, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana — 141 004 on any working day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM by 16.12.2020. The Candidates should appear before the Selection Committee along with original copies of the testimonials on 23.12.2020 at 11:00 AM in the office of the undersigned. No TA/DA will be given for that day. No separate information for the same will be sent.
