Applications are invited from Indian young dynamic eligible candidates who have passion for innovation and work with contemporary technologies such as application of Space and Geospatial and development of ICT tools for the welfare of people of state. 1. Position: Junior Research Fellow
2. No. of Positions: 01
3. Salary: Rs 31000 + HRA
4. Name of Project/ Scheme: Towards the development of monitoring and forewarning system for late blight disease of potato by integrating epidemiological, proximal and remotely sensed data (Funded by SERB, DST, Govt of India)
5. Essential:
i. Postgraduate degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Geospatial Technology (or related subjects)/ Computer Science along with CSIR-UGC NET/GATE OR
ii. Postgraduate degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Geospatial Technology (or related subjects) /Computer Science along with the proof of selection process in the Postgraduate course through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc
iii. Postgraduate degree in Agricultural/Environmental Sciences along with CSIR-UGC NET/ICARNET/GATE AND good knowledge of Remote Sensing and GIS
6. Desirable: I. Proficiency in GIS and Image Processing Software’s II. Experience in interpretation of data and writing reports/papers in peer reviewed journal

3. Salary: Rs 30000 + HRA
4. Name of Project/ Scheme: Govt of India Scheme
5. Essential:
i. First class Master's degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/GeoInformatics(or related subjects)
ii. First Class Graduate degree in Computer Science/Data Science/ Electronics and Communication (or related subjects) with knowledge of geospatial technology
iii. Good knowledge of machine learning/data science/artificial intelligence in at least any one of the programming languages such as (MATLAB or Python etc.)

First class Master's degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Geospatial Technology (or related subjects) OR First class Graduate degree in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Civil/ Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of Remote Sensing & GIS OR First class Master's degree in Agricultural/ Environmental Sciences with good knowledge of Remote Sensing & GIS Preference will be given to candidate having the knowledge of Auotocad and GIS software
