1. Job Title: Senior Administrator-Power BI
2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required, Master’s degree in engineering/ technology preferred
3. Experience/ Qualifications:
a) Minimum 6 and maximum 8 years of total experience
b) Mandatory 4 years of experience in in PowerBI server administration
c) Experience in setting up of highly available Power BI infrastructure (Cluster/Standalone implementation)
d) Experience in Power BI configuration and onsite integration
e) Experience in Power BI Desktop
f) Experience in integration of PowerBI servers with different data sources
g) Upgradation of PowerBI servers
h) Proficient in PowerBI server administration with experience in backups, recovery, and restoration
i) Experience in setting up of SSO implementation
j) Managing BI content – user creation/management, setting up data privacy, security keys and access to apps workspace and content
k) Hands on – PowerPivot, Power Query, Excel, Pivots/Charts/grid and Power View
l) Experience developing queries, reports, and forms
4. Employment Type: All positions are on fixed term contract on a full-time basis exclusively for ReBIT, initially for a period of five years, extendable by mutual consent
1. Will be responsible in setting up of Power BI infrastructure (Cluster/Standalone implementation)
2. Will act as advisor for most optimal and effective architecture and implementation of PowerBI
3. Will be responsible for User Management
4. Will be responsible for PowerBI integrations with other tools using APIs
5. Will be responsible for access management of app workspaces and content
6. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
7. Integration of PowerBI servers with different data sources and timely upgradation of PowerBI servers
8. Proficient in PowerBI server administration with experience in backups, recovery, and restoration
9. Strong interpersonal and articulation skills both spoken and written
10. Should have knowledge to install, configure and manage the Power BI Report server setup and new version/upgrades as and when available.
11. Responsible to perform Power BI database Backup Activity
12. Responsible to configure Disaster recovery for Power BI Report server
13. Responsible to monitor and maintain the power BI Report server.
14. Responsible to resolve Power BI Ticket (On-Boarding, Assigning Rights, Folder Creation) on daily basis
15. Good knowledge related to on premise data gateway, data refresh
16. Responsible in helping various kind of database connections (SQL, Oracle, Excel etc.) with Power BI server.
17. Strong understanding of Power BI application security layer model.
18. Responsible to troubleshoot the issue related to Power BI desktop and Power BI Report server.
19. Able to develop dashboards as per business requirement.
20. Ensure Proper Documentation.
21. Securing the Power BI and data/reports
