Applications are invited for the following post at Sainik School Nalanda (reserved for OBC category):-
1. Name of the Post: TGT (Social Science)

3. Pay Level -7, Rs 44,900/-
4. Minimum Essential Qualification: Graduate with History/Civics/Geography subjects from a recognised University with atleast 50% marks, B Ed Degree and CTET qualified.
5. Allowances and Perquisites. Rent free accommodation as available, Transport Allowance, DA and Medical Allowance, LTC, Non Productivity Linked Ad-hoc-Bonus, Contributory pension as per New Pension Scheme, Subsidised education for two children from classes VI to XII.

Demand Draft for Rs 500/-
(a) Sainik Schools Society Rules and Regulations in vougue and as amended from time to time will be applicable.
(b) Post is transferable with All India liability.
(c) Should be ready to take on additional responsibilities usual to a residential public School.
(d) Preference will be given to candidates having higher qualifications, teaching/working experience in English medium public Schools especially Sainik Schools, proficiency in spoken English, ICT applications, games as well as in co-curricular activities.

1. Written Test: There will be a written test consisting the following:-
(a)General Knowledge
(b)General English
(c) Basic Maths
(d)Subject Test Of appropriate level
2. Skill/Proficiency Test: There will be a Skill/Proficiency test consisting the following:-
(a) Typing Test (English) in MS Word (40 WPM)
(b) Typing Test (Hindi & Regional Language) using online tools
(c) Typing Test to check knowledge of typing various symbols used in Mathematics/Science subjects in MS Word
(d) Preparation of Excel Sheet as required for results preparation etc
(e) Filing of documents in files/ dossiers etc (Knowledge of Current events, matters of every day observation, experience and general information about India, Basic Knowledge about GST / Audit / Procurement via GeM and basic official works).
(i) Eligible and interested candidates (OBC only) may apply in the prescribed application format as available at the School website www.sainikschoolnalanda.bih.nic.in with passport size photograph.
(ii) Applications with self attested copies of documents along with unstamped self-addressed envelope (9'x4') and a non refundable Demand Draft for Rs 500/- drawn in favour of the Principal, Sainik School Nalanda payable at SBI, VIMS Pawapuri (Code No 18429) should reach the Principal, Sainik School Nalanda, Vill- Nanand, PO-Pawapuri, Dist-Nalanda, State-Bihar, Pin Code 803115 on or before 10 Feb 2021. Fee may be deposited through online also on the link provided at the Sainik School Nalanda website under online Fee depostie through SB Collect option.
(iii) Candidates who are applying for the post must forward scanned copy of duly filled prescribed application form alongwith scanned copies of academic documents, experience, cast/OBC certificates etc and Demand Draft as advance information besides complete application sent by post on School email [email protected]
(iv) Only short listed candidates will be called for written test, skill test and interview.
(v) No TA/DA for attending the written test/interview is admissible.
(vi) Indian national only need to apply.
(vii) The Principal reserves the right to reject incomplete applications.
(viii) The School administration reserves the right to cancel the vacancies due to administrative/policy reasons.
