Director General Vacancy At SAMEER

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Director General, SAMEER.

i. The post of Director General, SAMEER carries the pay scale of Level- 14 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 144200 - 218200) and is proposed to be filled on Direct Recruitment / Absorption / Deputation (including short term contract) basis. The tenure of the post filled through Direct Recruitment /

ii. Absorption mode is upto the age of superannuation (as per the applicable rules of SAMEER) and if the post is filled through Deputation (including short term contract) mode, the tenure would be upto 5years or up to the age of superannuation, whichever is earlier.

2. Educational Qualification and Experience Master's Degree in Engineering/ Technology in electronics / Electricals / Electronics & Communications / Microwave Communication / & Microwave with 22 years of post- qualification experience in the areas of RF /

ii. Microwave Communications / Millimeter Wave/ Communications / Opto Electronics / Photonics / Atmospheric Science/ Radar System/ Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / lectromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) / Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP), Electromagnetic an Antenna design. OR Ph.D in any of the above areas, with 17 years of post- ualification experience

(b) Essential Experience The candidate must have at least 5 years' experience in Senior Management Capacity.

3. Desirable: Experience in R&D with publications

4. For Absorption Deputation including In case of Recruitment by Deputation / Absorption State Government or Public Sector Undertakings hort term contract Officers of the Central Government or Autonomous Bodies:-

(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR

(ii) With 3 years regular service in the pay scale of level-13A in the pay Matrix (Rs. - 2, 16,600) in the parent cadre or Department; AND Possessing the Qualifications and experience rescribed for Direct Recruits.
