For ICMR Funded Project entitled "Regulation of progenitor cell function in heart by angiotensin II"(P-5417)

1. Post Name: Project Assistant

2. Qualification & Experience (Essential): 60% MSc (biotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry or any branch of life science excluding botany) and one year experience in molecular biology techniques.

3. Qualification & Experience (Desirable): Experience in handling human samples, experience in processing tissue samples for gene expression, western blotting and Immunohistochemistry.

4. Number of vacancies: 1 (UR)

5. Consolidated remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- per month

6. Tenure of Appointment: One year (extendable) or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

7. Brief job description: Will be responsible for collection and processing of samples, performing experiments like RT-PCR, western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence. The project assistant should be able to co- ordinate all the in vitro experiments pertaining to the project.

8. Nature of appointment: Temporary (Purely on contract)
