Qualification in Details:
West Assam Milk Producers' Co-operative Union Ltd, Purabi Dairy, Panjabari, Guwahati-781037 invites applications for the recruitment of the following positions on contractual basis initially for a period of02 years.
1. Post Name: Assistant-I (Dairy)
i. Qualification: Minimum ITI pass in Electrical trade
ii. Experience: 2-3 years’ work experience in dairy or food industries or any processing related industries.
iii. Number of Positions: 04 (on contract, initially for a period of 2 years) in various sections.
iv. Job Location: WAMUL Office in Guwahati, Assam.
v. Salary: CTC Rs.2.02 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions.
vi. Main Responsibilities:
a. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems (to provide a continuous supply of heat, steam, cooling, electrical, power, gas, or air required for operations).
b. Complete work orders in a timely manner maintaining high quality standards, maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
c . Assemble fittings, valves, bowls, plates, disks, impeller shaft, and other parts to equipment with tools etc. to prepare for operation in relevant section
vii. Skills/ Attributes: Technical: i.Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably food and dairy industry. ii.Technical Experience: Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer - controlled equipment, PLC and HVAC. iii.Must be able to work in a wet environment with moderate to high noise volume. iv.Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays. v. Be able to effectively work in a team environment.

2. Post Name: Assistant-I (Accounts)
i. Qualification: B. Com from a recognized institute/university
ii. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Finance and Accounts in a reputed organization, preferably in Dairy / FMCG Sector
iii. Number of Positions: 1 (on contract, initially for a period of 2 years)
iv. Job Location: WAMUL Office in Guwahati, Assam.
v. Salary: CTC Rs.2.02 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions.
vi. Main Responsibilities:
a. Maintenance of accounting records and documents.
b. Booking of Purchases, Expenses & Provisions.
c. Preparation of Vouchers and entries in Tally ERP 9.
d. Sales Invoice generation.
e Party Ledger Maintenance & Reconciliations.
f. Bank communications & Bank Reconciliations.
g. Physical Stock Verification
vii. Job Specification:
a. Skills/ Attributes: Technical
b. Skills/ Attributes: Social and Managerial
c. Computer skills: Knowledge of latest MS Office package that includes MS-Excel, Word and Power-point.
3. Post Name: Assistant-I (Quality Assurance)
i. Qualification: Indian Dairy Diploma (Dairy technology) / B.Sc (PCM) from a reputed educational institute.
ii. Experience: Fresher or preferably 01-02 years of working experience in Milk/Food industry. Laboratory testing shall have an added advantage.
iii. Number of Positions: 02 (on contract, initially for a period of 2 years)
iv. Job Location: WAMUL Office in Guwahati, Assam.
v. Salary: CTC Rs.2.02 lakhs per annum including P.F & other Contributions.
vi. Main Responsibilities:
a. Monitoring of raw milk quality of DCS/MPI’s & Bulk Milk Coolers.
b. Capable of handling chemical and reagents.
c. Performing quality analysis of raw materials and finished products.
d. Monitoring of quality and plant activities for Dairy Plant(s).
e. Formulation of new products.
f. Capture Market Response (Complaints) related to quality.
g. Keeping Record and documentation.
vii. Job Specification: Skills/Attributes: Technical
i. Knowledge of milk quality attributes, factors affecting milk quality at production and at processing unit, manufacture of different milk products.
ii. Knowledge of Quality Standards, food regulations in the country and testing operations.
iii. Knowledge of raw materials, milk and milk products testing and should know the importance of cold chain at the procurement level in the field and plantlevel.
iv. Ability to use IT tools and analysis analytical data’s
v. Having knowledge of GHP and GLP
