The Labour Market Research Facility (LMRF) is a think tank that specializes in macro and micro labour market, household sample surveys, working and living condition surveys and macro labour market analysis. LMRF is fast emerging as one of the top think tanks in household survey, large sample survey, working and living conditions surveys, urban planning, skill development, and labour market research. It also closely works with other academic institutions government agencies and corporate organizations for conducting research projects .
2. Project Title: “Impact of Agricultural Interventions on Farmers Wellbeing: Evidences from Semi-Arid Regions of Rural India”
3. LMRF invites application for the below mentioned positions on contractual basis
4. Name of Position: Research Assistant
5. Period: Contractual for 6 months
6. Job Description:
i. Undertake necessary review of literature
ii. Compile and collate all the data and relevant information in excel
iii. Analyze the field data; both qualitative and quantitative
iv. Assist the Research Associate in report preparation
v. Any other tasks assigned by the Project Directors.
7. Expected Profile:
8. Educational Qualification: Ph.D./M.Phil./ Post graduate in social science discipline with minimum 55% marks.
9. Skill Sets:
i. Ability to conduct structured Interviews for data collection
ii. A basic understanding of the impact assessment.
iii. Ability to enter data in MS Excel
iv. Preference will be given to candidates having In-depth understanding of micro data.
v. Candidates familiar with handling of large data sets (NSSO, Census, Penn world data.) and their use to understand the policy dynamics in India.
10. Experience: Previous Impact assessment engagement
11. Remuneration: Rs. 20,000 per month ( Consolidated)
