A walk-in-interview will be held at Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Majhian Campus, Majhian, P.O. Patiram, Dakshin Dinajpur-733133 on 14 January 2021 for casual engagement in following position on purely temporary basis for the College of Agriculture, Majhian, Dakshin Dinajpur:
1. Name of the post: Library Assistant
2. No of Post: 01
3. Qualification: E.Q.: Passed H.S. or equivalent examination, with Certificate course in Library Science.
4. D.Q.: Knowledge in computer operation/ at least 6 months duration certificate course in computer from any recognized institute with knowledge of Library based software.
5. Monthly Remuneration (Rs.): Rs. 12,000/- (Consolidated)
6. N.B.: 1) Candidates having working experience in University and are acquainted with functional system of University Library shall get preference. 2) In the event of attendance of large number of candidates, short listing may be considered adopting any kind of criteria.
7. Period of engagement: Up to August, 2021. However, the temporary engagement may be renewed further on the basis of performance.

3. Interested candidates having requisite qualification and experience in the respective area may appear in the interview with application in plain paper.
4. The application must contain details of his/her bio-data along with attested copies of certificate and the same is to be addressed to the Registrar, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, P.O. Pundibari, Dist. Cooch Behar, PIN-736165.
5. No T.A/D.A is admissible for appearing at the interview. The University reserves the right not to select any candidate for the engagement.
6. It is clearly stated that this engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and may be terminated at any stage by the decision of the University.
7. The University shall not be held responsible if the interview is postponed due to some unavoidable circumstances.
