Applications of the eligible candidates are invited to attend the interview through online interview mode - video conferencing using zoom (as a preventive measures of COVID-19) for temporary and time bound positions of Young Professional-II, Research Assistant and Project Assistant on contractual basis under the following projects. The qualifications and other details are as under:
1. Name of the Project: DBT funded project “Collection and characterization of indigenous shiitake (Lentinula edodes) and DNA baracoding of oyster (Pleurotus spp.) mushroom germplasm for commercial exploitation”
2. Name of the post(s): Project Assistant
3. No. of post: 01
4. Emoluments: Rs. 20,000+ HRA pm.
5. Duration: Presently for 2020- 21 and likely to continue
6. Nature of work : Research in Mushroom ; May have to travel all over Uttarakhand, H.P. and J&K.
7. Minimum qualification: B.Sc. (Agriculture/Biology)
The upper age limit is 50 years on the date of interview
1. Hard copy of application form and other supporting documents will not be entertained
2. The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.
3. The appointments are subjected to the physical verification of original documents at the time of joining.
4. No-objection certificate from the employer/University in case he/she is in employment elsewhere/ studying.
5. Concealing of facts are canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
6. The above position is on contractual basis, purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project
7. The place of work will be at ICAR-VPKAS, Almora/Hawalbagh or at the project site.
8. The selected candidate shall not claim any regular employment at this Institute, as the position is co-terminus with the project.
9. The number of positions may increase and decrease as per requirements.
