”Walk-in-Interview” will be conducted by East Central Railway for engagement of full time General Duty Medical Practitioner/Specialists for Central cum Super Specialty Hospital/Patna. Willing Doctors who fulfill the qualification/eligibility criteria specified below may apply for the above engagement. The engagement will be purely on Contract basis for the period of one year which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to year basis (not extendable beyond 12 years) or till the post filled by regular Doctors selected from UPSC or the scheme is available whichever is earlier.

3. Qualification:
(a)Degree/Diploma in corresponding specialty mentioned above in remarks column.( MBBS + MD(Medicine), MBBS + Diploma/ MS in Opthalmology)
(b)Should be registered with Medical Council of India/Medical Council of State
4. Remuneration: Rs.95,000/ (Rupees Ninty Five thousand only) for the 1 st Year; Rs.105,000/ (Rupees One Lakh Five thousand only) for 2 nd Year & onward per month, if Railway accommodation is not provided. If Railway accommodation is provided, deduction will be made from the monthly remuneration equivalent to House Rent Allowance payable on minimum pay to Senior Scale officer (Level-11 in 7 th CPC) and fixed license fee for accommodation.
5. HQ/Division/Unit: Central Cum Super Specialty Hospital/Patna
Not exceeding 53 years as on 12.11.2020
(a) Proof of age.
(b) Proof of passing MBBS (with all year marks sheet), Internship, Degree, Diploma & other educational qualifications.
(c) Proof of registration in Indian Medical Council/Medical Council of State.
(d) Experience certificate if any.
(e) Proof of caste in case of SC/ST candidate & non-creamy layer certificate in case of OBC candidates. (only on prescribed format for Central Government will be accepted in case of OBC).
(f) Mark Sheet(s) of relevant qualification(s).
(g) 04 (four) copies of recent passport size photograph with self signature.
(h) Original Pension Payment Order book & self attested copy of the same in case of Retd. Doctor.
(i) Service Certificate issue by Organization on Retirement, if available
(a) In the event of absence from duty, deduction from the remuneration will be applicable @ daily rate of proportionate of remuneration.
(b) Railway administration has legitimate right to transfer the engaged CMP(s) any where over E.C.Railway in case of administrative exigency.
(c) One set of 1 st class complementary pass for self and family shall be issued during each contract period after completion of three months of regular contract service. Contract Medical Practitioner can avail free medical treatment on E.C.Railway Hospital for self only.
(d) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
(e) Selected candidates will be posted at Cental cum Super Speciality Hospital, East Central Railway/Patna.
(f) CMP will have no right of posting against regular vacant post or transfer at his own request.
(g) CMP is not be allowed private practice after sanction of contract.
(h) The candidates working in any Medical Organization/State Govt. should submit their applications through proper channel with “No Objection certificate”.
(i) There may be change in numbers of vacancies and place of posting as specified above depending upon administrative requirement. Offer of posting will be made on the basis of availability of vacancies at the time of engagement.
(j) Posts indicated herein may be kept unfilled at the discretion of Railway administration.
