BHARATIYA MAHILA BANK LTD., (hereinafter referred to as BMB) the first women’s public sector bank in India had become operational from 19th November, 2013 and is presently having -90- branches. The Bank established and wholly owned by the Govt. of India with a capital of ` 1,000 crores is in the process of putting in place an IT core team in order to ensure that the IT activities are aligned with BMB’s business and business strategy and for the purpose invites application from Indian citizens for the post of CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER (CIO) in the rank of General Manager.

Chief Information Officer Minimum 15 years of banking experience in operation and management of IT preferably in a Public Sector / Private Bank in IT Implementation/Software Development Management/ Hardware Management/Vendor Management/Procurement, handling all IT related products etc. BE, B Tech plus MBA with Technology as a core component or M Sc or M Tech. with Technology as a core component. The qualification shall be from a recognised university Working hours shall be the usual hours as applicable on all days except Sundays and holidays declared under N.I. Act. The provisions of PF/ Gratuity/ Pension etc., shall not apply in the case of CIO. The management also reserves the right to terminate the contract on the grounds of any commission and/ or omission of acts, if any observed which are detrimental to the interest of the Bank in any manner. The CIO will not take up any assignment with any other organization during the period of contract with the Bank. The CIO will not exercise any administrative/ financial powers during the period of engagement. The CIO will not divulge/ make public any information/ decision made by him/ her during the course of execution of his/ her duty. Minimum 40 and maximum 56 years


Selection Procedure : 

Candidates can apply on or before     29/2/2016.

Selection will be based on Personal Interview.

Candidates will be short-listed for Personal interview, based on their qualification and work experience. The qualification shall be from a recognized university.

The educational qualification and work experience prescribed for the post is the minimum. Candidates possessing more than the prescribed work experience in the relevant discipline shall get preference.

Clicking on the sublink titled “APPLICATION FOR CONTRACTUAL APPOINTMENT OF GENERAL MANAGER (IT)/ CIO”. Click on this sublink will open up the appropriate Application Format.

Carefully fill in the necessary details in the Application Form at the appropriate places.

MODE OF PAYMENT:- Candidates only have the option of remitting fees through Demand Draft. The non-refundable DD of the fees for ` 600/- should be in favour of “BMBL-Recruitment of Officers- Project 2016” payable at New Delhi.

Without call letter the candidates will not be allowed to appear for Interview.

Candidates are, advised to keep the copy of the duly filled application form & DD for future use.

The name of the candidate and his/ her father/ husband etc. should be spelt in the application exactly as it appears in the certificates/ mark sheets. Any change/ alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
