FEDO is a leading Engineering Consultancy firm, involved in Project Consultancy, Design, Engineering & Implementation, mainly to Fertiliser, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Industries. FEDO has also ventured into EPC of Infrastructure sector in a big way since 2014. Ongoing projects include Infrastructure Development, Architectural designs, Detailed Engineering and Project Management of the NIT-Nagaland Campus, PMC for IOCL LPG Import terminal at Kochi, Multi-Storey Township development project for BPCL in Kochi, School Buildings for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan etc. FEDO is anticipating more jobs in the Oil & Gas Sector, as well as infrastructure field.

Specifications: Educational Qualification: Graduate in Engineering from an Institute of Engineering of repute.

Preferred additional qualification: Post Graduate in Business Management/ Engineering.

Experience (as on 1.12.2015): Minimum 21 years post-qualification experience, out of which, 12 years shall be in medium / large Public Sector Undertakings, Government Departments/Ministries, Joint ventures and subsidiaries with more than 50% participation of Government / Public Sector, Private Sector Companies in India satisfying both the criteria listed below. Private sector companies shall : a) have a turnover of ` 200 crore or more during any one of the last three financial years. b) shall be a company in the business of Project execution, Infrastructure building/development ,Project Consultancy, Engineering and Design , in line with the business activities of FEDO. The 12 years’ experience specified above has to be in areas of Project execution, Infrastructure building/development, Project Consultancy, Engineering and Design etc., in line with the business activities of FEDO, preferably in carrying out turnkey contracts. 2 Salary drawn for the last two years shall be in the scale of not less than ` 43,200-66,000 (E7 in central public sector companies) or equivalent , or total monthly emoluments of not less than ` 1,10,000 /- where pay scales are not applicable. The Company reserves the right to consider applicants presently working in medium / large Public Sector Undertakings, Government Departments/Ministries, Joint ventures and subsidiaries with more than 50% participation of Government / Public Sector, with relaxation in the total number of years of post-qualification experience subject to meeting all the other parameters.

Upper age limit: 54 years as on 1.12.2015 .ie., should be born after 30.11.1961 (not applicable for internal candidates)

Emoluments: The incumbent will be placed in E8 grade (` 51300- 73000).Other applicable emoluments including conveyance, phone, PF, medical reimbursement, LTC, HRA as applicable to FACT `s employees shall be provided.

Job Content: The Chief Operating Officer of FEDO shall be in overall charge of the Division, which will be functioning as an Independent Profit Centre of The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd., with autonomy in functioning. The COO shall have the required operational and service functions in FEDO under his/her control. The COO shall be responsible for signing MOUs, Collaboration agreements etc. with firms for bidding for jobs including back to back agreements. The COO shall be responsible for Planning, Organising, Controlling and Executing all operations of the Division, to ensure generation of profits. The COO(FEDO) reports to the Chairman and Managing Director, FACT. COO(FEDO) will be headquartered at New Delhi office of FEDO.
