Anganwadi Helpers/ Workers
  1. The applicant should be female.
  2. The applicant for the post of AWW must be resident of Medinipur Sadar Block Area.
  3. The applicant for the post of AWH must be resident of the concerned Gram Panchayet area from where she is applying for the post.
  4. The minimum educational qualification [For all Categories i.e. GEN/SC/ST/OBC(A)/OBC(B)] for recruitment to the post of AWWs will be Class- X Pass.
  5. The minimum educational qualification [For all Categories i.e. GEN/SC/ST/OBC(A)/OBC(B)] for recruitment to the post of AWHs will be Class- VIII Pass.
  6. Age Limit for recruitment for the post of AWW/AWH will be 18 to 45 years
  1. Anganwadi Worker (AWW) – Rs. 4350/- per month.
  2. Anganwadi Helper (AWH) – Rs. 2850/- per month


Documents to be attached with the application :-

    1. Residential Certificate from the Gram Pradhan/ BDO / MLA / Savapati of Panchayet Samiti.
    2. Proof of candidate’s age.
    3. Proof of educational qualification.
    4. Two copies of Passport size photograph pasted in the application form and other copy tied up with the application.
    5. One self addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs 5/-.
    6. All documents and testimonials to be attested and photograph should be signed by the candidate.
    7. Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / OBC (A) and OBC (B) certificate (Xerox copy) to be attached with the application form, duly issued by the competent authority i.e. S.D.O.


    1. The name of the post applied for must be super scribed on the envelope.
    2. The decision of the District Selection & Monitoring Committee will be final in respect to Appointment.
    3. The application should be sent by the registered post only with A/D to the Child Development Project Officer, Medinipur Sadar ICDS Project (Rural), Sepoy Bazar, Paschim Medinipur, Pin- 721101.
    4. No postal delay will be entertained.
    5. Misrepresentation of facts and submission of false documents if proved, the application will be totally rejected at any point of time.
    6. Last date of submission of application is 17.12.2014 upto 4:00 PM.
