. Managing problems related to services where the architect acts as the problem coordinator, performing root cause analysis, proposing and implementing structural solutions, testing, and tracking the resolution for problems.
. Collaborate with other team members on the development of SAP roadmap, including defining and managing adherence to architectural principles, standards, policies and solution governance
. Serve as the key application subject matter expert and drive the implementation of the best practices and standards for the team, defining the application scope and objectives and providing thought leadership, solution architecture, and design for the application solution
. Work across architecture domains to identify and resolve issues and manage interdependencies between all integration points
. Perform routine program modifications, performance tuning and optimization, problem solving, debugging, and unit and integration testing
. Gather reporting requirements with the user community, create functional and technical specifications and propose solutions that meet the requirements
. Prepare appropriate training documentation and ensure that new functionality is properly transitioned to reporting users
. Migrate integrations across development, test and production environments
. Work with business partners and internal staff on resolving platform production defects and performance issues
. Provide oversight and subject matter expertise to project team members and manage enhancement activities

Candidate Profile:
1. Bachelor’s Degree
2. At least 10 years experience in architecting, developing and implementing in SAP Analytical tools ( BI/BW, Hana, BOBJ, BODS), preferably implementations with a global component including multi-currency and multi-language environment
3. At least 2 years experience in with SAP HANA modeling
4. At least 2 years experience in with ETL tools (such as Data Services) to extract both SAP and non-SAP data
5. At least 5 years experience in in SAP business Objects (preferably version 4.0)
6. English: Fluent

1. Extensive experience utilizing SAP Business Intelligence technologies and applications including SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Back End Data Load/Scheduling/Monitoring/Modeling/Development, Back End Data Extraction (from SAP and non-SAP sources), and Front End Bex Designer and Analyzer for BEx query development
2. Strong knowledge of BI architecture frameworks, concepts, and best practice design principles as well as SAP structures, object dependencies and tables
3. Up to date skills in developing and/or updating SAP ABAP functionalities, including coding of BW transformations and user exits and creating custom logic in extractors to pull data from source systems
4. Extensive experience with ETL and SAP Report Performance Tuning (database queries, tables, indexes and reporting tools)
5. Experience with BOBJ 4.0 tool suite (SAP Business Objects Universe Designer, IDT, Webi, Crystal Reports, Explorer, Analysis for OLAP/Office, Dashboard Designer, Design Studio and Lumira)
6. Advanced knowledge of configuring BW data objects and BW upgrades
7. Strong understanding of SAP end-to-end data flows and interactions between SAP modules
