Soldier Technical & More Vacancies:
Post name and Qualification:
Sol Clk/ SKT : 10 + 2 Pass in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject or graduate/ post graduate with no restriction on percentage of marks, however, should have studied English and Maths/Book keeping/Accountancy as compulsory subjects at 10th or 12th with 40% marks. (ii) A candidate appearing for Sol Clerk/ SKT are awarded additional weightage of 20% on marks scored in Common Entrance Exam (CEE) provided the individual has adequate knowledge in computer and typing. 20% Bonus marks will be provided to the candidate who produces the certificate “BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMMER” issued by the DOEACC Society (An autonomous body of Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Govt of India, for accreditation of Computer Courses under the AICTE – DIT Scheme). (iii) The selection of Soldier Clerk/SKT will be based on ALL INDIA MERIT LIST
Sol Tech 12th simple pass (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 45% marks in aggregate). OR 10th class pass with min 50% marks in aggregate if 3 yrs Diploma in Engg from an AICTE recognized institute
Sol Tech (Avn/Amn Examiner ) 10+2/Intermediate exam in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English as compulsory subjects with min 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject or 3 yrs Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobiles/ Computer Science) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute
Sol GD :8th Simple Pass
Soldier Trades Men :i) 10th Simple Pass. (ii) 8th Simple Pass (for Mess Keeper, HouseKeeper & Syce only)
DSC (Sep GD) :At the time of retirement should have been in Medical category SHAPE-I Character assessment should be Very Good/Exemplary. Not have more than one red ink entry during the last five years of former service and not more than two red ink entry during the entire former service However those personnel who have been awarded one red in entry under Army Act Section 48 for intoxication during the last five years for former service are not eligible for re-enrolment into DSC and personnel placed in LMC (both temp/permt) during the last five years for former service preceding the date of discharge (even upgraded to SHAPE-I before discharge) due to “Alcohol Dependence Syndrome” are not eligible for re-enrolment into DSC


Physical Fitness Tests (PFT) :
(a) Registration shall be opened on each day from 0500hrs to 0700hrs. No candidate will be allowed to attend the rally if he reports after 0700hrs. (b) Candidates to ensure that they report as per the schedule given out for each District and each category. No candidate will be allowed under any circumstances on date other than the mentioned the schedule. (c) A Grievance Redressal Cell will be functional at the rally site for redressal of any grievance of the candidates. (d) The candidates be informed and made aware of the fact that they are required to undergo the physical fitness tests at their own risk and expenses. Any injury/death due to physical tests conducted during the recruitment rally will not be compensated in any manner


Medical Examination :
Medical Examination shall be carried out by team of Army doctors at the rally site for all candidates who pass the physical tests. Medical Examination of the candidates will be conducted as per Medical Standards stipulated for Recruitment in Army. He shall give an undertaking prior to conduct of his Medical Examination that Recruiting Medical Officers and other Medical Specialists of Armed Forces are Final Authority in such matter for Declaring him FIT/UNFIT. Temporary Unfit and Permanent Unfit candidates can opt for Medical Review at the Appeal Medical Baord. After the review at the Appeal Medical Board, the candidate will have no right for further review or re-medical. The maximum period permissible for review of Temporary Unfit candidates will be 42 days and for permanent Unfit Candidates will be 21 days. There is no embargo on screening of Medically Unfit Candidates as fresh candidate during subsequent Recruitment Rallies. Permanent/Temporary Unfit candidates can come up for medical examination afresh during subsequent Recruitment Rallies


Eligible candidates will be registered and issued with PFT (Physical fitness test) slip. A rough height check will be carried out of all candidates before registration. The document check at this stage is only preliminary. Detailed scrutiny of documents will be carried out after Physical Fitness Test (PFT). However, complete documents, as in Para 15 and 16 must be carried by all candidates during
registration. Registration timings will be from 0500 hrs to 0700 hrs.
