Indian Rare Earths Ltd (IREL) a Mini-Ratna category – I Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy is the industry leader in the area of Beach Sand Minerals like ilmenite, rutile (titanium ores), zircon, monazite, sillimanite, etc., and producer of rare earths (Lanthanides) chemicals, thorium nitrate etc. The company requires proactive professionals for the following positions for its Corporate Office, Mumbai and its units at Aluva/Chavara in Kerala, Manavalakurichi in Tamil Nadu and Chatrapur in Odisha.

QUALIFICATION/JOB REQUIREMENT

 

Chief General Manager (HRM)

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/MBA/MA/MSW (2 years full time course) with specialization in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations from reputed & recognized Universities/Institution approved by AICTE.

Job requirement: The incumbent will be required to handle HR System & Procedure, Role Profiling, Competency Mapping, Performance Management, Compensation Packages,  Industrial  Relations, Training & Development,  handling HR issues, Labour legislation, Wage negotiation, RTI matter, Disciplinary matter, Conciliation & labour matter, Welfare matter, CSR & Administration,  Exposure to computerized environment is desirable.

Work Experience/Eligibility Criteria: Candidates from Public Sector/ Private Sector and Government etc. are eligible to apply.  All  candidates., however, must fulfill eligibility criteria given below :

  1. (24) Twenty four years of post qualification executive experience as on 31.03.2014.
  2. Minimum two years of experience as on 31.03.2014 in 43200-66000 Grade or equivalent in PSUs/Govt. of IDA/CDA pattern of scale.  In case of candidates from Private Sector they should have a minimum 2 years of experience as on 31.03.2014 (out of the total post qualification experience) in a company with an annual turnover not less than Rs.100 crore and the equivalent annual CTC, which should not be less than Rs. 16.70 lakhs.  The candidates will be required to produce documentary evidence to that effect at the time of interview.
  3. Candidates working in Private Sector as Functional Head and  preferably reporting directly to Chief Executive.

Place of Posting: The successful candidate will be posted at Corporate Office, Mumbai.

Candidates should have working knowledge of any one or more of the following languages: Hindi/Malayalam/Tamil/Oriya 

 

General Manager (Finance)

Qualification: ACA /AICWA

Job requirement: The incumbent will be required to handle Accounts finalization in compliance with all statutory requirements,  Treasury management that includes investment of surplus funds, negotiation with banks/Financial institutions for fund based/non-fund based facilities,  Internal Audit,  Corporate taxation,  Indirect taxes,  Costing,  Budgeting,  Dealing with various auditors,  MIS,  Forex management.

Preferred: Specialized knowledge in Service Tax, Sales Tax, VAT, Excise, Income Tax etc. Project evaluation (NPV & IRR analysis), Financial advice/concurrence. 

Work Experience/Eligibility Criteria: Candidates from Public Sector/ Private Sector and Government etc. are eligible to apply.  All  candidates., however, must fulfill eligibility criteria given below :

The candidate must have 20 (Twenty) years of post qualification experience as on 31.03.2014 in a PSU/Large Private Sector Organisation.

Minimum two years of experience as on 31.03.2014 in 36600-62000 Grade or equivalent in PSUs/Govt. of IDA/CDA pattern of scale.  In case of candidates from Private Sector they should have a minimum 2 years of experience as on 31.03.2014 (out of the total post qualification experience) in a company with an annual turnover not less than Rs.100 crore and the equivalent annual CTC, which should not be less than Rs. 13.27 lakhs.  The candidates will be required to produce documentary evidence to that effect at the time of interview.  

Place of Posting: The successful candidate will be posted at Corporate Office, Mumbai.

 

Dy. General Manager (Finance)

Qualification: ACA /AICWA

Job requirement: The incumbent will be required to handle Accounts finalization in compliance with all statutory requirements,  Treasury management that includes investment of surplus funds, negotiation with banks/Financial institutions for fund based/non-fund based facilities,  Internal Audit,  Corporate taxation,  Indirect taxes,  Costing,  Budgeting,  Dealing with various auditors,  MIS,  Forex management.

  1. The candidate must have 15 (Fifteen) years of post qualification experience as on 31.03.2014 in a PSU/Large Private Sector Organisation.
  2. Minimum two years of experience as on 31.03.2014 in 32900-58000 Grade or equivalent in PSUs/Govt. of IDA/CDA pattern of scale.  In case of candidates from Private Sector they should have a minimum 2 years of experience as on 31.03.2014 (out of the total post qualification experience) in a company with an annual turnover not less than Rs.100 crore and the equivalent annual CTC, which should not be less than Rs. 12.57 lakhs.  The candidates will be required to produce documentary evidence to that effect at the time of interview.  

 

Place of Posting: The successful candidate will be posted at any of the IREL units at Aluva/Chavara in Kerala, Manavalakurichi in Tamil Nadu and or Chatrapur in Orissa or Corporate Office at Mumbai.

 

ALLOWANCES AND BENEFITS:  In addition to Basic Pay, DA @ 90.50% of Basic Pay, HRA (30% of Basic Pay at Mumbai, 20% of Basic Pay at Aluva and 10% of Basic Pay at Other Units), Perks and Allowances such as Conveyance Allowance, Professional Development Allowance, Uniform Up-keeping allowance, Festival Allowance, Reimbursement of cost of medicine for Domiciliary treatment, Leave Travel Allowance, etc., will be paid and benefits such as EPF, Gratuity, Superannuation contribution, Medical Assistance, Group Insurance, Post-retirement medical scheme, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Casual Leave, Half Pay Leave and Earned Leave etc. are also admissible as per rules of the Company
