Detail of Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) Flight Operations Inspector & More Vacancies Recruitment:

Filling up of the posts of Dy. Chief Flight Operations Inspector, Senior Flight Operations Inspectors and Flight Operations Inspectors on ad hoc basis on contract in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation against newly created regular posts. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to fill up the following posts on ad hoc basis on contract initially for a period of three years in the Pay Scale, Grade pay and allowances as detailed below:

    1. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) in the Grade Pay of Rs 8900 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 6000 per hour for 70 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance (The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs 5,99,330 (approx) per month.
    2. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter) in the grade pay of Rs.8900 in PB-4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs2000 per hour for 40 hours per month and admissible Special Allowance (The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs.2,39,330 (approx) per month.
    3.  Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) in the Grade Pay of Rs 8700 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 6000 per hour for 70 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance. (The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs 5,62,430 (approx) per month.
    4. Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) in the Grade Pay of Rs 7600 in PB 3 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 4000 per hour for 70 hours per month and admissible Special Allowance (The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs 3,74,250 (approx) per month. The details of eligibility of these posts are at Annexure A.

Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter) 01 55 years Initially 3 years (i)Should have a commercial Pilot’s License (Helicopter) issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command. (ii) Should have held the qualification of an examiner/instructor approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil helicopter or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services. (iii)Total experience of not less than 4,000 hours and not less than 2,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command on helicopters. (iv)Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency. Desirable Should have a CPL (H/C) with open rating for all single engine piston-type of helicopters having an all-upweight not exceeding 1,500 kgs.
Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) 09 50 years Initially 3 years (i) Should have an Airline ransport Pilot’sLicense issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft. (ii) total experience of not less than 6,000 hours and not less than 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on air transport aircraft. (iii) Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency. Desirable: (i) should have held the qualification of an examiner/ instructor approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services (ii) Should have an Open rating for all types of aeroplanes having all- pweight not exceeding 5,700 kgs.
Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) 12 40 Initially 3 years (i) Should have an Airline Transport Pilot’sLicense issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft. (ii) total experience of not less than 5,000 hours and not less than 2,000 hours as Pilot-inCommand on civil air transport Aircraft (iii) Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency. Desirable: Should have held the qualification of an examiner/ instructor/ check pilot approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services.
