Detail Of Ministry of Textiles Demonstrator Recruitment:

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of the following General Central Services Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted posts on Direct Recruitment basis for posting initially Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Fulia, West Bengal but likely to be transfer to anywhere in India. Details are as under:

Demonstrator (Processing) (Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200 + G.P. 2400/-) 1 (One) (UR) Below 30 years as on the closing date for receipt of application from candidate. Essential: i) Three years Diploma in Handloom Technology or Three years Diploma in Handloom& Textile Technology or equivalent with Post Diploma in Textile Chemistry or Textile Processing or three years diploma in Textile Chemistry. ii) Two years experience in Textile Processing unit. Desirable: Experience of Teaching in a Government or recognized Institute. To handle practical classes in chemistry & wet processing laboratory and assisting in various projects

Demonstrator (Weaving) (Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200 + G.P. 2400/-) 1 (One) (UR) Below 30 years as on the closing date for receipt of application from candidate Essential: Three years Diploma in Handloom Technology or Textile Technology or Three years Diploma in Handloom& Textile Technology or equivalent from a recognized Institution with two years practical experience in a weaving mill or handloom or power loom factory. Must be well acquainted with weaving mechanism, cloth analysis and transfer of design to point paper and loom. Desirable: Experience of Teaching in a Government or recognized Institute. To handle practical classes in Textile Testing, Designing & weaving laboratory and assisting various projects

Lab. Assistant (Processing) (Pay Band -1 of Rs. 5200-20200 + G.P. 1900/- ) 2 Nos. (Both UR) Below 30 years as on the closing date for receipt of application from candidate i) Three years Diploma in Handloom Technology or Three years Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology with Post diploma in Textile Chemistry or Textile Processing or three years Diploma in Textile Chemistry. ii) One years’ experience in dyeing laboratory or processing unit. To assist in conducting practical classes of chemistry and wet processing laboratory and various projects

Lab. Technician (Weaving) (Pay Band -1 of Rs. 5200-20200 + G.P. 1900/- ) 1 (One) (UR) Below 30 years as on the closing date for receipt of application from candidate Essential: Three years Diploma in Handloom Technology or Textile Technology or Three years Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology or equivalent from a recognized Institute with one year’s practical experience in a weaving mill or Handloom or power loom factory. Must be well acquainted with weaving mechanism, cloth analysis and transfer of designs to point paper and loom. Desirable: Experience of Teaching in a Government or recognized Institute To do the work in testing, designing and weaving practical’s and projects.

Lab. Attendant (Processing) (Pay Band -1 of Rs. 5200-20200 + G.P. 1800/- ) 1 (One) (UR) Below 30 years as on the closing date for receipt of application from candidate Essential: Matriculate or its equivalent with two years’ experience in a reputed process house involved in Bleaching, Dyeing, Printing and Finishing. Desirable: Advance certificate course or short term course in processing (Dyeing or Printing) from a recognized Institute or Weavers’ Service Centre or Indian Institute Of Handloom Technology. To assist in laboratory work of chemistry and wet processing subjects and various projects.

Lab. Attendant (Weaving) (Pay Band -1 of Rs. 5200-20200 + G.P. 1800/- ) 2 Nos. (Both UR) Below 30 years as on the closing date for receipt of application from candidate Essential: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University with at least two years experience in winding, warping and other operations related to weaving. Desirable: Advance certificate course or short term course in Weaving from a recognized Institute or Weavers’ Service Centres or Indian Institute of Handloom Technology. To assist in testing, designing , weaving practicals and projects
