18-30 years. There will be no age limit for the employees of the council. The RA’s /SRF’s who have been engaged on contractual basis by different Projects in ICAR Institutes without break for less than six months as on 12-12-2011 will be considered with their qualifications by granting them appropriate relaxation in the upper age limit to the extent of their spell they were actually engaged as RA’s/SRF’s fulfilling conditions as mentioned in ICAR Order No. 19(25) 2011 Estt-IV dated 12-12-2011. An employment certificate indicating the names of the project and the exact period the incumbent worked in each project, may be obtained from the Competent Authority, and enclosed along with the application. The applications without Employment certificate will be disqualified. This dispensation is only for relaxing the maximum age limit and does not imply any other relaxation whatsoever regarding essential qualifications and experience etc. In accordance with the existing instructions and orders issued by the Govt. of India from time to time, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for persons belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) in respect of the posts reserved for them. OBC Caste certificate in the standard format should be enclosed along with the application form as per Appendix –II only, in the absence of which it will not be considered and the candidature shall be rejected summarily. Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of application i.e. 31-01-2016. General instructions to the candidates:
1. The post is non-government under the Indian council of agricultural research which will be governed by the New Pension Scheme introduced by the Government of India w.e.f. 1-1-2004 mutatis mutandis and as amended and modified from time to time. 2. At present, the place of posting is ICAR-NIANP, Bengaluru. However, the same is liable to be transferred anywhere in India under ICAR system. 3. Candidates already in Government service (Central/State/Autonomous body) should submit their application through proper channel. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained. In case a candidate anticipates unavoidable delay in forwarding of his/her application through proper channel, he/she must send an advance copy of the application along with the fee which must reach this office on or before the closing date, which will be considered provisionally. But the original application must reach this office within the closing date.
