Detail of National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) Senior Fellow Recruitment:
NIRD&PR is the country’s apex organisation for undertaking training, research and action research and consultancy in all aspects of rural development. It provides an inter-disciplinary academic environment, backed by an excellent infrastructure including a specialized library and state-of-art and computer facilities.
NIRD&PR invites application for the tenure based position of Senior Fellow(4 slots) and the requirementfor the position, age and remuneration, etc. are as follows: i) Requirement – i) Eminent Persons in the field of Rural Development;
Senior Bankers with a flair for rural development;
Senior Officers both serving and retired from the Government of India/ States, Public Sector Undertakings, persons serving in Government/Government Organisations may either be taken on deputation basis or on sanction of study leave by the parent organization for the purpose; iv) Senior academics and scholars working on subjects relating to rural development issues.
Duration : The duration of the Fellowship shall be a minimum period of three months and a maximum period upto two years. The tenure of fellowship may be extended upto three years in exceptional cases subject to maximum age limit of sixty five years. iii) Remuneration and other incentives : a) Fixed remuneration of Senior Fellowship grant of Rs.1.25 lakhs b) If a person elected for the grant of Senior Fellowship is in Government service, he will be entitled to 30% as training allowance of the basic pay or equivalent.
Age :Maximum 65 years.
