Detail Of National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) Associate Vice President Recruitment:

Position: Associate Vice President – IT and Data Centre Operations
Number of Positions: One
Place of posting: Mumbai/Chennai/Hyderabad
Age as on 01.05.2015: Preferably 35 to 45 years
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s engineering degree in Computer or Electronics or ME/ M.Tech, MCA, MSc.
Experience Minimum 12 years of experience of which at least 5 years of independently managing IT & DC Operations
Key Responsibilities:
    • BCP / DR management – Ensure Regular DR drills / switch overs, RBI Audits, Adherence to NPCI Risk Management Policies
    • DC management – Manage day-to-day operations supporting all applications across Data Centres. Management of Monitoring tools and Service Desk
    • Project Management – effective management of allocated Budget and completion of projects as per Schedule
    • Incident / Problem / Capacity /Asset Management of all Data Centre activities.
    • Enhancement & Retention of Talent
    • Adhere to various legal provisions/acts (NI Act/ IT Act/ PSS Act etc.). Compliance to internal & external (RBI) audit reports and maintenance of Certification like PCI-DSS, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, etc.
  • Review operational process, suggest improvement & implement process re-engineering as part of relationship management with vendors
Essential Knowledge:
    • Excellent planning and organizing skills
    • Ability to handle emergency situations.
    • Decision making skills
    • Good interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
    • Good communication skills (written & spoken)
  • Past experience in people and resource management
