KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and report key risk metrics, including early warning indicators  Participate in the development of risk strategy and its relationship to the risk tolerance  Lead various risk review and assessment in organization Collaborate with the business to ensure that risks are identified, quantified, and appropriate action taken Establish product specific risk definitions and risk acceptance criteria Maintain a product risk / fraud risk knowledge database Participate for Product Portfolio risk Management, Fraud Strategy, Bureau Risk Management, Risk Governance, and Operational Risk Verify compliance with existing risk policy through MIS and frequent reviews of transactions Provide oversight of all operations related to risk management Provide oversight and direction to the vertical leads of each of risk management areas Settlement risk monitoring; development of stress-testing mechanism for payment systems Oversee the development/acquisition and effective use of models, scorecards, and other automated risk management tools

Competencies: Excellent communication and people leadership skills Balance of strategic orientation, analytic capabilities and operational ability Strong leadership and partnership skills and ability to bridge a diverse workforce Exceptional influencing skills across broad functional areas Hands-on Problem solver – perseveres to find creative solutions to address business challenges and issues Proactive and innovative – always looking to challenge the status quo with new ways, thoughts, ideas Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills; SAS, SQL skills are a plus

Technical Knowledge and Skills: Articulate & Good Communication and Excellent relationship Building skills  Good understanding of Banking, Payment instruments, Issues and concerns and practices followed in different countries for risk management either by implementation experience or by reading relevant literatures.  Process oriented and good awareness of card security and card frauds related aspects.  Ability to manage teams, work under pressure and result oriented.
